Desert Dwellers.? Well we've got rid of Lucas, Jeffy and Waite so that's a fair bit of frustration out the door in one season. Yes Cas is a bit hit and miss, but I suspect mine will be Watson. Will he get a look in up forward? Warnock. Will he grab a mark or two? Bell. Will he hit a target?
I think you have identified the main candidates for the desert - these guys have to scrub up in 2015 else they will be gone for 2016. Possible exception is Levi, who I think MM has the role of fwd line enforcer in mind for him, crashing packs and intimidating the enemy. Kicking goals will be his secondary objective.
I have no particular political allegiances, a true swinging voter, and I think this gov. has badly screwed up. However, the thought of Shorten and his mates taking over truly scares me. I think he is toxic and stands for nothing but his own ambition.

Agree that MM has been tasked with rebuilding the list but I think there would also be an expectation from the board that we will get into the Top 8 next year. CFC has to offer its long-suffering fans some positive signs of progress IMO.
Top 8 and being very competitive in the finals, winning at least one, would be an absolute minimum IMO. I think MM will be gone if we don't achieve that. (It'll be interesting to see if he can get on with SOS anyway if he does come back).
