HB: L. Cowan, Z. Fisher, L. Plowman
C: J. Binns, G. Hewett, L. O'Brien
HF: J. Honey, J. Carroll, J. Motlop
F: L. McMahon, B. Crocker, H. Lemmey
R: H. O'Keeffe, P. Dow, E. Curnow

From that list at least the sub for the firsts will come out and perhaps an injury cover emergency, or they may play that emergency at least part of the 2s game given the firsts are the next day - if it were Ed he could play 2 full games i reckon, he hasnt lost much of his endurance!

Agree re the fan abuse. Everyone is angry and wants answers....but to hurl some pretty vile abuse like that is uncalled for. I was embarrassed when I saw that footage. Would be horrible to be at the game, sitting nearby with a young family and have to see and hear that.

I'm a big fan of JSOS and reckon he goes in and gives as much every week as anyone....but like a lot of players, he's outta form and for team balance, probably needs to make way this week to inject a bit of pace in the forward line if nothing else.
Love Jack for his heart and soul approach, and because of the romance of the family tradition, and when he is playing well he gives us something but at the moment he isn't performing well enough to hold his place in the side.

I like Lemmey's kicking though which was elite at U18 level but seemingly being dragged down to Carlton level as the weeks go by.  He shows a bit in the ruck to suggest he could develop into that KF/relief ruck we crave.  Also showed ability to swing back at U18 level.  All in all plenty to work with.  O'Keeffe I am not sold on. Akuei great athlete, great tryer but zero footy nous.  Honey just goes missing far too much even at this level.  Fog as you say is limited but surely deserves a shot at the firsts for consistent performance at 2s level.

OBrien (omitted)->Binns
Cottrell (omitted)->Hewett
Boyd (omitted)->Cowan
Silvagni (int)-> One of Lemmey OKeefe Mirkov Akuei (or not bring in any additional hieght and Young covers ruck)
Agree with first above. don't mind getting Cowan in or Hewett if over concussion but not sure Boyd and Cottrell are the ones I'd drop.  Akuei and O'Keeffe are a mile off.  Mirkov can get taps but that's it and was omitted "injured" from the 2s so unlikely to get a call up.    Lemmey I would have said was a mile off but he showed a bit in the ruck in the second half this week albeit against VFL opposition.  Not enough to have me rushing him in, but I'd like to see more of him in the ruck in the 2s to see if he is a viable spell ruckman.  Whilst raw there is a bit to like about him especially his kicking.   For this week though I think it is Lewis Young as poor as he has been of late. especially as they might run 2 ruckmen to try and exploit TDK and lack of real height down back (even though it is a night game). I'd like to have Marchbank back but query if he has the miles in his legs yet.  Suspect we will lose Kennedy, he looked really shot late in the game.
