I've heard SpecialK only played part of the game, and JSoS kicked the winner.

GEELONG  VFL            2.3      5.7      6.10      9.13 (67)
NORTHERN BLUES    5.2      5.4      9.7      10.8 (68)

GOALS
Northern Blues: Kerr 2, Palmer 2, J.Silvagni 2, Garlett, Kreuzer, O’Dwyer, Penrith

BESTS
Northern Blues: Kreuzer, Wilson, J.Silvagni, Goddard, Anderson, Hill

From the NB's website. Silvagni will be a certain 'in' next week. Kreuzer too is he is fit enough. I would doubt that with him not 100% game time yet, but we can't go in with Lobbe. He was destroyed today.

It's curious, I've a mate who was there said that SpecialK only played managed minutes and they named him BoG!

16 possessions in half a game and an excellent game in the ruck. He must have dominated while he was on.
It also makes you wonder about the rest.

My mate didn't say 1/4, 1/2 or 3/4s, just that SpecialK was managed through the game, so I suspect he spent a good chunk of each quarter on the bench!

Looks like Kennedy and Polson didn't play.

They both went with the senior side as emergencies.
I spent most of my money on Women and grog.
The rest I just wasted.

Congratulations to NB's holding on to win at GMBH (or whatever stupid name it is) against the Cats.
At least a few of our guys get to sing the song. Let's hope they can bring that winning effort when they get called up. Don't expect the likes of Lang even know the words. ???

Knowing our match committee, we’ll probably just bring in Polson again.

In its section on state league performances the afl website says Fasolo went down early with a back injury. Is this correct?

The Blues were made to do it the hard way, with Alex Fasolo coming from the ground in the opening five minutes due to a back injury.
Finals, then 4 in a row!

I'm certainly not happy he got injured, but at least it stops us from making an error in bringing him in again anytime soon.

Let us try something else that might work long term instead.
