Positives. - We have so many passengers, we are playing poorly. We basically did SFA that quarter.......HOWEVER.....its still only 14 points. - We can't play that bad again for another quarter. - We have the ability to sub out one of our current passengers. MUST be a small forward Fantasia/Durdin who have a total of 6 touches between them.
Sydey are the best team in the comp.....and we are playing poorly.....yet we are right in this game.
That free kick involved Boyd being belly to belly suplexed out of the way (which was ok) but the fact Boyd held on to him on the way down was worthy of a free kick?
Agree LP. Better to play a young developing player than Fantasia. He has had enough chances and shown zip.
Far be it from me to stick up for Fantasia, but its games like this one which is the reason we picked him up. A senior body, with AFL experience, with the smarts to turn a game quickly against quality opposition. If he ever wants to justify his position, its tonight under the above (finals like) conditions.
If we were outside of the top 8, then 100% you play the kid.....but thats not where we are as a team right now.
