We are on TV again, the highlight of Saturday night viewing. Does not bode well, but ...
There will be someone who will deserve votes. And these votes may well determine who will win this year's Jim Park Award.
[1] 15 votes in total
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

Basically, we were better than a team that finished equal top for 3 quarters. I hate the fact that we lost, but I was proud that we turned up and put in such a decent effort. Also, the game was held in pouring rain, which we traditionally have not played so well in. I certainly think it affected us more that Brisbane: we had a lot more tall, marking targets.
Votes:
[3.5] Sam Walsh
[2.5] Lachie Plowman
[2] Harry McKay
[1.5] Tom Williamson
[1] Matthew Kennedy
[1] Kade Simpson
[1] Liam Jones
[0.5] Jacob Weitering
[0.5] Jack Martin
[0.5] Sam Petrevski-Seton
[0.5] Marc Pittonet
[0.5] Patrick Cripps
Explanations:
[3.5] Sam Walsh 31 possessions, 21 of which were contested. His was an excellent effort and deserving of the BOG.
[2.5] Lachie Plowman: One of Plow’s best games of the year, he thrashed Cameron in every aspect of the game.
[2] Harry McKay: To get 3 goals from his limited opportunities was an excellent effort.
[1.5] Tom Williamson: One of Willo’s best games so far. 4 clearances.
[1] Matthew Kennedy: Solid effort.
[1] Kade Simpson: Did the job in his last game.
[1] Liam Jones: Totally won his position.
[0.5] Jacob Weitering: His highly rated opponent barely touched the pill.
[0.5] Jack Martin: Some good stuff in the conditions, but not enough.
[0.5] Sam Petrevski-Seton: Good value in defence.
[0.5] Marc Pittonet: 4 clearances and a generally decent game. Tried his guts out.
[0.5] Patrick Cripps : 11 possessions in considerably less than a half a game. Not his greatest game, but he was in it until he was injured.
Honourable Mentions:
Jack Newnes: Solid performance.
OK, voters, it is Friday. I'll close this thread on Saturday. Please vote.
