Didn't Rowe come into the side late this week (after the sides were selected)

They're suggesting the injury to Levi was done in the warm-up...that may not necessarily be the true story. ;)

Interesting listen to Ben Reid pre-game, mentioned Buckley has changed greatly in 2018. Prior to 2018 Reid said Buckley was trying to coach all players to be every other player like coaches like. Sound familiar or similar?

In 2018 Buckley has changed tactic and is now coaching players to their strengths!

Rowe was looking quite good prior to Kreuzer going off, now he has to ruck against Grundy!

Just do not understand why Jones is anchored in D50, he's not been a D50 positive today so why not send him upfield?

Charlie Curnow getting cooked by the umpires, several times he's either taken a mark a mark or earned a free kick but he gets nada!

SPS, so good then so bad, no awareness, there is no sauntering around the ground for a Sunday stroll on the MCG!

Great to see Rowe bringing some angry to the F50!

Like it, some spirit shown at the end of the quarter and Cripps in there looking after his mates.....
Kennedy did a good job in the second quarter, used it by hand more and adjusted to the pace of the game.
Rowe been good, and Daisy stirring up his old mates.
Need to keep it spiteful and upset the more fancied Pies.....

I was impressed with our young fellas during that mallee. None took a backward step and they all flew the flag, well done. I may be mistaken but I thought I saw Charlie cop a smack in the mouth from Adams.

Not sure why Weiters instead of Jones on Cox!

Yes, this is better than I expected and I can't see us rolling over.
Collingwood are just that bit cleaner with the ball and can put team mates into space more easily but we are certainly having a crack.
Weitering doing very well on Cox has been a big plus but we're still missing a focal point, McKay might have been a better option than O'Shea.

Can only lift when you have ability to do so.

He has no idea. Looks like a fool everytime the ball goes near him in any one on one situation.

Don't get why we drafted in Shaw to just keep on persisting with this hack.

O'Shea is able to stand taller players, not sure he and Shaw are apples for apples comparisons.

For me Shaw might be a viable replacement for Plowman if he's out for a period of time!

We've a whole team full of individuals, even Cripps and Curnow, very few players sacrifice to help a team-mate!

It's a survival mentality.

Our F50, it's almost dysfunctional, no mark no hope, no fight, no tackles, no shepherds, no smothers, no blocks, no harassment, nada! If there is no mark, the Pies just waltz out of our F50 like they are auditioning for the Sound of Music!

Will we ever see another front and square, have we canned having F50 rovers?

If not for some moments of sillyness from a few, I felt we could have been in front at 3qtr time. Loving the effort though. Thats all you can ask, all I want know is not let it blow out in the last. Three serious  Injuries to 3 key players in a day would test any side. They have been brave for 3 qtrs.

ive lowered my expectations to sub 30 point losses

its like a win these days

when we actually do win, its like a premiership.

46 points in three quarters on a fine day won't win many games of football, until we get a forward or two from somewhere we'll have to put up with brave losses.

Yet there have been plenty of spilled marks inside our F50, but not a crumb to be seen, it's woeful! We have a small F50, were are the tackles?

We have probably 2 or 3 of the top 5 on the ground, but the story is the Pies wasted opportunities!

That won't help. We need to get the ball into the 50 more quickly and cleanly so the forwards have a shot.

Lamb.
OShea.
Mullet.

Three worse footballers don't exist on the planet,  fair dinkum I'm over fifty and I'd kick goals on Lamb.

We made them work for it while depleted on the bench.

Collingwood hated it against Geelong when they were played in-close and shut down they only kicked 5 goals that day.
