Murphy a touch stiff missing last few games. Great win by Cripps, especially one so young. Second youngest winner behind Big Nick himself.

2nd year and a B&F...third year maybe a Charlie.
If not it won't be far away.
Great stuff Crippa, congratulations.
2024... Moir of the same to come

That's a shame. I had hoped it may have been passionate. Hopefully that won't push him further away.

Sounded heartfelt and passionate to me.  Hopefully it will be enough to counter the media's compensation pick hysteria.

Congratulations young Crippa....
What an impressive season. B & F, Runner up Rising star, Best 22 under 22, 8th contested possession in AFL, Chris Judd award..... And just 20 years of age with a mere 23 or so games to his name.
For mine, this exceptional performance is nothing short of Juddlike.
I've no doubt he'll lead his young teammates by example and be an exemplary leader, and likely Charlie recipient.
Can we sign him on a very long contract please?  :P
Bring on his partnership with BB and a strong (stronger) list.

Indictment of our current Coaching group.

Says more about our team really.

Armfield and Carrazzo missed pretty much half a season each and ended up 10th and 11th.

Play every game and you're going to go well.

Hogan came 4th in the Dees' B&F. Viney polled more votes and he only played 16 games.

I thought Hogan did something nobody has ever done before and that key forwards are more important. ::)

Indictment of our current Coaching group.

From what I understand of the voting system, players who do the job asked of them are rewarded.  By all measures, Tuohy was down on previous years and didn't show the run and flair that made him more of an offensive weapon than dour defender.  If that was playing to instructions, as the voting suggests, it is an indictment of our coaches.  However, it also suggests that Tuohy is perhaps more versatile than we give him credit for.

It will be interesting to see how he is used next season and how he responds/develops.

I guess Tuohy was one of a few decent players that played every game.

Well done Patty Cripps, the first of quite possibly many B & F victories!!
