Your not wrong. He is poor or broke. He filled for bankruptcy in the US but he has plenty of assets and money all around the world you would suspect. Tax dodging, crafty operator. She needs a few more brain cells to keep the other one from being too lonely.
Tend to agree with Baggers - this is a soapie and will be on-going for some time. The real story though, as others have hinted, is likely to be a financial one with the Tax Office playing a leading role, rather than one of a broken romance. The good Doc has previous experience with such dramas. ::)
