Thought the umpiring was OK without being great.

Think the result is about what we expected.

Our backline held up very well considering the ball lived in their forward line.

Not surprisingly, we struggled through the middle and transitioning from defence into attack.

Got dominated from start to finish. Can't see us winning much this year. Disappointing for one of the oldest sides in the competition.

they were very happy to give Collingwood frees in front of goal.  Was shocked to see the free kick count.

Maybe, but the ball lived in their forward line, so thats just where free kicks had to be given otherwise they would've had like 3 for the night.

The umpiring was a lottery at times but neither side was favoured.

Our defence was excellent but we lack the firepower in the midfield and forward line to effectively transition from defence.

There were promising signs from some of our newer players but too few have to do too much.

We will struggle against teams that weren’t pillaged by the expansion teams but should be competitive against the rest.

From day one our AFLW team's disposal by hand has failed to develop, other than the seasons we had Prespakis we've hardly had a player who can handball more than 2 or 3 metres with any sort of reliability.

Last night we won the inside foot repeatedly but just couldn't get it clear, and the Pies would win strip us of possession and be clear of the pack with a single tidy disposal.
