AFL Rd 13 2023 Pre Game Prognostications Carlton vs Essendon

If we had Pitto playing, I'd think we were a chance. With only Tom as ruck, we've got no hope.

Given the consistency with which we are:
1. Stopping and propping with the footy not knowing where to kick giving the other mob time to set up behind the ball
2. Turning it over when we go I50
I can't see us winning. I know exactly what they will bring and so do the opposition coaches. Its simply not good enough.
Given my hatred for this mob I don't know if I can bare to watch TBH.

We are actually not too far away. The lack of quality forwards apart from Charlie and Harry is hurting the team as a whole.
If this team needs to improve then it really needs to do something with forward of centre play.
Sad to say but hope Cunners and Martin play well VFL today if they play.

The Bummers have improved and are now mediocre. Too good for us I fear. Another loss coming up.

They have pace and a heavy duty ruckman but are still flaky and I dont buy Zach Merritt as a leader either.
Hopefully Wright doesn't play and the conditions are damp and slow them up.
Charlie owes us a big game and Harry needs to build on his game vs Melbourne.
Dons have nothing of note down back and if we can't win this it's over for the year and 10-12 players can forget about being at Ikon Park next season along with a few assistants, list manager and other associated staffers.

They will kill us with pace EB, 6-8 goals.  We have nothing.

Kennedy will be a big loss I reckon.  He's taken up a lot of slack at the coalface IMO.

Yep Kennedy will be a loss, I'm just hoping for some pride and backs to the wall stuff vs a traditional enemy Prof . Pies were a mountain too big to climb but Essendon don't impress me and I hate losing to them so much and I hope the players feel the same and can show some ounce of spirit.

The thing about this mob is that they are the "Great Multipliers"

Win and the joy is much greater than against other sides.
Lose and the devastation is much greater.

Whichever way it goes next weekend will be an 'emotional' experience.
