Negative comments from insecure blokes stuck in the caveman era and intimidated by powerful women.
No surprise this whole movement has gone right over their heads.
Most if not all are the same dopes who flood every thread regarding women’s footy with the same old negative rubbish.

Wasn’t one of those expecting us to pummel the Suns today. Don’t think we’ve got enough of that killer instinct just yet to smash sides into the dirt. This was evident when we got 7 goals in front and then switched off and started stuffing around.
A win ya a win though. Will take it every day if the week after the first half iof the season we ve had.
How can we explain that putrid umpiring though ? Umps obviously under instruction from the AFL to go easy on Gold Coast this week. Can’t have them being smashed every week seeing as millions of (wasted) dollars have been pumped into them.
Reckon commentators also given a nudge by the AFL to not be too harsh on, and talk up Gold Coast as much as they can.

Either they think they ve got enough young talent on their list, or they re insane.
Talk about selling the farm.

Really have to play it cool with Davey. Pies need to pay up.
Tiges set the standard by giving pick 1 for Conti.
You’d think pick 2 + something would be the minimum for a player of Davey’s calibre.
No big loss with Tilly.
Mullane was pretty good though.

He actually defended our player development, saying he’s happy with where the kids are, particularly the 4th year players from 2015 draft. Best part was when the development of Harry was brought up, he ripped ‘What, the 2nd best contested marks total ever in the first 3 rounds isn’t good enough for you ?’ LOL!!!

The Stevens/Davey scenario may have some similarities, but the players are much different.

Davey is streets ahead of Stevens.
She is a ‘big name’ player in the AFLW, whereas as good as Stevens was at Collingwood, she never had the cachet Davey does.
Captain, All Australian, 2 x B&F winner,
Face of AFLW at Carlton.
Voted best captain  in the league this year..
At 25, coming into the peak of her career.
Genuine match winner.

We should play hard ball and expect the Filth to pay BIG. The sneaky way Bri has gone about this, approaching our biggest AFLW rival herself behind the clubs back, should make the Club even more determined to get the best deal for us and not be so accommodating to the player herself.

If true, the fact Davey instigated the Trade is what players, staff and supporters should be mostly irate about. For a captain of a club to go behind the back of the Club she leads (and is the AFLW poster child of) like that is a massive dog act.

What most non Carlton people don't understand, or conveniently overlook, is that we virtually rebuilt the whole Club from the ground up. It started with Trigg came in and identified the embarrassingly old way the Club was set up and run.
Reckon Bolts was the right candidate to get us through the rebuild stage, as he's a good communicator with the players and was exactly what we needed following the out of date methods of Mick.
Whether he's the guy to take us that next step is up for debate. So far, looks like his match day tactics are a massive area of weakness. Could ve done with a senior assistant like Caracella this year.
Happy with the job SOS has done. My only complaint with him is we used to always find some great diamonds in the rough from our Rookie List like Jamo, Tuohy, Thornton etc. That has pretty much stopped under SOS. Also not factoring the plethora of 'steak knives' players like Sumner, Kerridge, Smedts etc who've come and gone from the club (the media is obsessed with them every time they try to debate our recruiting under SOS), but was Kennedy worth a Pick 16 and O Brien worth a Top 10er ?

Worked so hard really to get back into the game.
Levi dropping an easy mark 45 out changed the momentum.
Had he taken it, gone back and slotted the goal like any other decent forward, we would’ve been right back in the contest, 
Ran out of steam late on due to bring 2 down, thus the blow out in the score in the last 10 minutes.

Lost respect for Geelong tonight.
Their bully boy and flopping to the ground at every opportunity tactics were pathetic. They seemed to lose the plot when a team they thought they could physically and mentally push over easily, stood up to their rubbish. Their supporters are a bunch of country bumpkin sooks too, but what do you expect from a bunch who idolise a diving cheat like Selwood.
