My request: rest Harris and play Bird, no other changes.

But likely we will go in unchanged, as will the poms.

Edit - suprised Onions being touted to push Bresnan out...? time well tell.

I suspect the Poms will panic and makes changes, if it wasn't for the weather they were forked last test match!

If we win one over there, the Poms are going to hold the Ashes for the shortest period in the history of cricket!

Golly.

Military medium bowlers bowling to dull as dishwater batsmen on the worlds flattest surface.

Are they trying to kill test cricket deliberately?

Ball swinging and seaming all over the place on the 2nd day. What an outstanding, gritty knock by Buck! Not a pretty innings by any means, but his concentration and patience was top class. Needed luck, and he got it. Given out caught behind, he reviewed and it showed he didn't hit it, but it clipped his back pad. They then checked for LBW and that showed the ball pitching in line and clipping the outside of the top of off stump. DRS said "umpires call" - which was OUT, but "out" for caught behind and not LBW. The central umpire overturned his decision and gave Rogers NOT OUT. Correct call.

Plenty of nervous moments for Buck in the 90's - couldn't get off strike from Swann who was causing all sorts of problems. Brought up his ton with a sweep for 4. Great knock so far  8)

Poms are three down and in front by 40 or so but are not batting with any confidence, reckon we can pinch another wicket very shortly.

Well, the POMS have certainly had the best of the batting days...by far.  That score of ours in the first dig on that day, worth closer to 350 on day 1 & 3 conditions.

Will be galling if we go down 3-0.....apart from 1 test, we haven't been anywhere near that bad.
Life is pain....... anyone who says differently is selling something.

Suprise suprise, Watson injured again. All you can do is laugh...

Needed to be 100 in front, a nice 30 from Haddin would have been handy.  We simply didn't make enough.  Again, one bloke makes runs, one or two middling efforts and a lot of basically nothing.

Would be a major pisser to go 3-zip but it appears to be heading that way.  We needed to win the toss and put some real pressure on.

Beaten inside four days again.  Enough's enough.

Smith has played in what, 11 tests for 10 losses.  I think that is trying to tell us something... like he isn't good enough.

Another poor game with the bat for Haddin.  A recurring theme here.

While we are on the phone back home arranging a replacement for Watson, who thankfully will no longer mope around contributing squat, how about chucking a couple of real lower order bats on the plane instead of more NSW pretenders?

Deplorable, again.

Chad Sayers should be in the squad, his bowling numbers are brilliant.

Batting? meh... Pick 10 bowlers and Clarke.  :P

I so want to see Uzi make runs but maybe he just aint up to test level.
