Well, today was not what we wanted. However, it is possible that we could get some players back for next week. We need it. A couple of the guys out there really struggled today and shouldn't be there next week.

No chance. Tigers by 6 goals. They and the Lions are the 2 form sides in the comp, and are starting to get players back. They won't let this one slip. Too experienced, too cohesive, too well drilled, and too hungry.

I reckon we are 50/50 or maybe slightly better against the Saints, and a slim, unlikely, outside chance against the Cats, who seem to have lost their mojo.

It'll be a tough one, our problem is going to be scoring against them.

Well smash them in the ruck and midfield as it's our strength, but Nthmond don't care they just happily lose that clearance and force the HBF turnover for an I50. They want opposition forwards being forced to chase Nthmond defenders out of the critical zone, as it means even if the Nthmond HBFs or Mids turn it over the opposition have nobody forward of the center to kick to!

I think we are going to win this one, and everyone is going to take notice.

We can’t win this one. Let us dream and hope. Coming up against 3 of the best sides in the last 4 games is a super test for a side sitting in the bottom 4.
This digital world is too much for us insects to understand.

We have no chance whatsoever.  I'd like to believe otherwise, but simply can't.

Big H needs to start scoring goals.

ps I reckon we'll push the Tigers all the way - we'll bounce back after yesterday's (somewhat flat) effort.....

And get a few good players back in the fold.

McGovern is one who owes his team mates a few bags of goals....
Finals, then 4 in a row!

Will McGovern return for this one? Saw him looking on pensively from the stand yesterday.

Teague said Gov will play this week, just not sure if its VFL or AFL. He also said its hard to find a spot at the moment as the boys are giving effort.

Personally i'd give Goddard and Schunacher the flick, let them take Lang with them.
Bring back in Jones and Daisy for the first 2, and if fit, Cunners for Lang.

I'd give Gov a week in the VFL and bring him back vs Saints a week later,

Agree with a week in the VFL for Gov. I'd be shocked if Cuningham comes back this week, played very limited minutes in the VFL on the weekend

Lang looks like Cunners would've looked if he came back 2 weeks ago.

Limps around, slow as treacle, doesn't impact games much,...if at all.

An unfit Cunners could perform the same role Lang is doing currently.

Lang apparently is doing a defensive  F50 role pretty well according to the commentary team.  Saw him do a couple of good things but wasn't exactly overwhelmed by his contribution.

If McKay is fit I'm the Pope.

His kicking has gone from reliable to lacking penetration.   I reckon he's playing through injury and McGovern might come in for him as an alternative.

Like him or not, our forwards kick more goals with him there than without him.
