SOMEONE MAN UP FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!

It's not about that Barb.

They've got us comfortably covered for foot speed and we aren't taking them out of the chain of play, which means we are left out of position and out of the contest all over the ground.

You can't be slower, and be losing your feet or letting the opposition keep theirs, it's a lose lose scenario.

If you are going to concede foot speed, you have to be physical to level the playing field.

McGovern looks like he just completed a gruelling preseason camp. Should not be playing.

Tigers using the same tactics West Coast did.

Teague would want to stop this uncontested rebounding football.

Our lighter bodies are just not capable of doing it, not in the dry and certainly not in the wet.

We need precision with the football, and we aren't getting it.

nothing to do with body size. everything to do with effort.

LOB 1 touch, Lang 2 touches, Fisher 4, Gibbons 4.

Not good enough. Came in the wrong attitude and it has persisted.....

Richmond aren't even ding anything.

We are just diabolical.

I think it was Jimmy Bartel who nailed it.

They are playing 1 behind the ball, and we are using that 1 in the contest. So we get the ball out of the contest, but rather than run and carry from the contest, we throw it on the boot and get it forward.....to their spare man and away they go. Said we are not 'mature' enough to think through what we need to do....run and carry. That includes Cripps who has been guilty of throwing it straight on the boot as well.

I reckon SPS is the only one who seems to be taking his time and trying to find a good option out of the contest.

They don’t have us beaten for speed, they have us beaten for effort.

We give them space to start and then they work harder.

Rubbish, in the wet mass and momentum is king, it's a straight line game.

You can level it out by doing work off the ball to make your opponent late to the contest, or take them out of the chain so you get the numbers, but we play bruise free off the ball and get taken out by them so they have spares everywhere!

I just heard news from a reliable source. Ronald McDonald will be signed as our new coach next season. Well deserved to run this current circus show.
This digital world is too much for us insects to understand.

uncontested possessions 88-56.

Says it all. We are playing dumb footy and not working hard enough.

Winning the contested football is not just about contested possession counts. The stats count a contested possession as a two on one when the one gives it off to the two

uncontested possessions 88-56.

Says it all. We are playing dumb footy and not working hard enough.

The reason Nthmond are behind in the contested possession count is because we are not close to them once they get the football in space.

Nthmond are all over us at stoppages.

I can't think of anything constructive to say. Most distressing ????

Here's a thought.
If we haven't got the ball, tackle the bloke who has. We had 12 players with 1 or 0 tackles ????
