VFL 2017: Rd 6: Northern Blues vs Sandringham at Preston

This Saturday at Preston the Blues will play Sandy.

This line-up looks about as strong as we can field in the VFL, but the 3 emergencies will almost certainly not be there. They will be making the trip to Perth, even though they may not play at all.
Russell and Wilson will almost certainly play, meaning there WILL be a couple of guys running around on the development game. I doubt Buckley will be one of them: he has been playing well. Polson and LeBois are more likely.

Keppel and Pickett are out, which is pity.

That Keppel, Declase, Stevens and Stavrou cannot get a senior VFL game shows just how much more depth we have this year compared to last. There were times last year when there were not as many Carlton players named in the VFL seniors as there are in this side.

Cheers Baggers , how is Jones going today , interested to see how his almost call up will effect his form, if there spur is ther to prove he deserves another shot in the top flight

NBs 3 pts up at half time. About a 3-4 goal wind which we had that qtr.
Better players - Phillips, Lamb, Jones, Polson, H,  Jakach, Gussy....

Jones, White and Sheehan great in defense. Buckley too many errors. Polson v good that qtr. Sumner smart. Billie Smedts v good. Gallucci good. Den Den good but too many errors. Palmer okay but average disposal...
