Bit of a message from the coach being dropped and I reckon he may call it quits before seasons end and allow Jessie G Mac a promotion so he can have a taste of senior footy..
Is G-Mac actually playing well in the VFL or are we just hopeful everything will just fall into place for him? Really hope he does become a player because that would just about set our defence for the next 15 years. Would love to get some feed back off those who have seen him play.
This is a good exercise because what it shows me is that we have very very little depth. Towards the end it should be hard for us to choose between players to put in the 22 not on process of elimination of who's less sh*t than the other. I really hope one or two of these young boys Rainbow, Beokhorst, Cripps, Graham makes a massive impact and cements their place in the team because my god we need the depth!

Slow, awareness is woeful and for someone who apparently has a good kick on him he's not very precise. Big kick maybe but good? nope, sh*t house.
On a positive note, Sammy Rowe playing down back. I'm enjoying a big slice of humble pie right about now because I thought this was another experiment that won't pay off. Good on ya Sammy, you've really come a long way!
What i think: Menzel for sure. Unfortunately due to our lack of targets upfront he will be the go to man. Good overhead and a reliable kick for goal. Sorry to put a negative spin on things but there will be a heavy over reliance on young Menzel. Will be a gun though.
What i hope: The one im hoping for is Watson. FFS boy, take that Key position spot in defence, make it your own and allow Hendo to play permanent forward. Watto's only 21-22 so there is plenty of time for him to show his worth.
Slider: I think McInnes will really struggle to find a consistent oppurtunity with Everitt and Docherty now in the team. Unless we're planning to use Everitt as a wing or forward or if Mick is planning to use McInnes as a Key defender (god forbid), I see his chances are limited. Which is disappointing because he's a real player.
