Cripps and Betts have been playing injured since the first quarter. Cripps is a liability when playing on Bont now, needs to go forward or get off the ground.I think Eddie just copped a low blow early on.....holding his junk.
Cripps is definitely playing injured, but he can still hold his own in the centre square and thats half the battle. Clear the ball from there and we're ok.
Don't mind if he clears it and then drifts forward, but regardless, its still working so why change?
Pittonet has been very good tonight.
They pumped up English in the pre-game, big unit coming of age and big game expected.....Pitts has flogged him with hitouts to advantage.
Fun stat.

We've started going for more marks (and taking them).
We've been one step ahead of the dogs in the way we have been playing all night.
We take a mark inside 50 to casboult.
Ump takes it off us for a hold against Harry just outside the contest. Another call from the umps that effect the scoreboard not in our favour.

Walsh's kicking is awful at the moment.He's probably never played a game in the wet!
A lot of it is just grab and kick (usually high) but even when he looks he's often off.

Dogs too afraid to pick up the ball because we are right on their tail.
Boys are up and about after the break so far.
Dogs simply can't keep their feet and/or pick up the ball. The pressure they are under (perceived or otherwise) is off the charts.

And there you have it. If he was the best, that's why we have been a joke for as long as we have been. He was a joke and Adelaide have discovered that...And Houlihan before him.
The fact Adelaide are not playing him is a joke.....like the rest of the club currently.
I've never seen a club implode like they have in such a short time. Makes our dark years look good by contrast.
