He is paying out on the umpiring on seven right now. Says it all.

Malthouse has just had a very polite and well-worded shot a the umpires, nothing to earn a fine over but made some very good & salient points.

And there's David King in the War Room not mentioning the umpiring but saying that it was the leadership group that win it for the Cats.  Yeah there's truth in that.  McLean not covering Selwood was terrible.  But it's not even half the story.
who kicked  geelongs winning goal?

Mick reasonable happy
Players played with more urgency and passion than last week.
Mentioned robbo blocked by runner
Not happy with Menzel decision
Disappointed with the umpiring. Said players on both sides were brave and the umpires should have made the brave call
Will speak to umpires to get clarification on decisions, talked to them last week
Pleased with the start. Ordinary in the second and couldn't hold onto the ball
Mentioned Selwood and would love him in the side
Wanted to put Jamo on Hawkins in the second but was injured. Says Jamo has issues to deal with
Smashed in the stoppages in the last

Pretty good job.

Said we contacted the umpires during the week to seek some explanations about last week and they never got back to us.

What is more painful than losing a game like this is the fact that we play that well against a team like Geelong and if we play like that against teams like Brisbane we win easily

You can analyse and blame all you like but, with 2 mins to go when u have your nose in front, you just have to get numbers around the ball, defend like fork and win the game. It's that simple.

It was constructive rather than a rant aimed to belittle the umps. Something that should happen more often within reason. Hate it how its all hush hush when it comes to umps. If u can offer something constructive great, if you can't then don't say anything.

The thread heading is a disgrace - we were not robbed by the Cats - they were always going to win
The cats list have clean superb skills plus heart
We have messy poor skills with occasional heart lapses

Yes Mosquito.

Umps have no bearing on the result.
