Who is our best 22?

OK, so a miracle has happened and all our players are fit for the first time in history.

Who do we pick to ensure we win the 2022 Grand Final?

I suggest you pick a team on paper first, or better yet, use this magnet board...
http://jimmae.epizy.com/teamboard.html?i=3

Then enter in your 22 players.

Some very hard calls will have to be made. I think we will get some very different results.

Its a poll mate, pick 22 from the list. ;)

Incidentally, we only have 1 difference from our 22, and its the 22nd player you selected.

Sorry 'bout that!

(agonized over Honey). Great minds... eh!

I didnt even consider him. I agonised over Plowman, Williams and Stocker. I chose Plowman (yes Plowman) because:
- He is extremely resilient and rarely gets injured.
- Since Gov went back, Plow has developed a decent attacking game.
- Williams is far too injury prone which is a crtieria I rate highly (also rules out blokes like Marchy, Cunningham, Martin for me).
2017-16th
2018-Wooden Spoon
2019-16th
2020-dare to dream? 11th is better than last I suppose
2021-Pi$$ or get off the pot
2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time

It seems as fans we value durability more than most seem to think.

Same page here re: the glassmen. I also steered clear of blokes who, sadly, just can't be relied up because of the durability (or fragility thereof) of their bodies. If I hadn't gone with Honey it would have been Plowman. Just got a hunch about Honey - my 'long shot.'

The funny thing is that if we'd done this poll at the end of last season I reckon a large percentage of us would have had Honey in the side.
I can't find a thread on this site but I've seen one on another that has exactly that.

Not me Lods, I wasn't convinced, still aren't. He has speed which I love but I haven't seen it used at AFL level anywhere near enough. It costs nothing to use and could be a weapon. To me if he keeps going like this, the MC will get frustrated and those coming back from injury will easily displace him from the side. As someone pointed out, he is young, but time runs out fast in this caper for certain types.

I have Jack Martin in. If he is fit and at his best he is a match winner.
Yeah see disagree with that as I just don't see it. Seems to have all the talent in the world but just doesn't stay in games long enough, maybe that's fitness, I think its btw the ears personally.

I think the problem was that he gave a couple of flashes in the games he played last year and folks got a bit excited by the prospect of some natural development.
That just hasn't happened.
Injury played a part, but he's really shown little since his return to the side.
