AFLW 2023 Rd 5: Carlton vs Sydney at Carlton

Carlton play Sydney today at 16:05 at Carlton.

Our team certainly has a Celtic presence!

It will be interesting to see how Dayna goes.  If she has picked up the game as quickly and as well as Erone, she should have an impact.

Good win. Held the momentum for longer. Unfortunately turned it over or kicked ineffectively i50 on multiple occasions. The effort and plan looked to be there. Love Moody deep i50 and see Fitzgerald as our W version of Cincotta. Tough as.

I have no clue how to start a thread either 🙃

Anyway. The girls had a comfortable win against winless Dogs on the road. 34 v 53.

Unlike last week, goalkicking accuracy was good 8.5. We had a spread of 8 goalkickers. Fitzgerald continues to impress 👏🏼 and our rucks are a force.

Women are doing a good job.  The men's efforts have flowed down to the girls.
