I read that MCC are to test 100 ball cricket, why stop there why not 1 ball cricket!

Imagine the benefits!

1 Ball cricket.

You can have 100K roll up to "The G" at $35/head.

One team a batsmen
The other team a bowler
An auto-wicky

Any boundary is a victory for the batsmen
Any dot ball or wicket and the bowler wins
Any score not a boundary, dot ball or wicket is a draw.

The ground can be dimmed, the crowd goes quiet, a fanfare erupts, the lights ablaze, a gladiator marches out and a warrior runs in, the release, the swing, the crescendo. The crowd cheer, the battle is won, the families head home, the stadium prepares for the next match. The kids could be home for bed, the trains could stop, the lights would dim, the parents could have a wine, steak and a root all before midnight!

Several times a night even!

Aah, what life long memories are made of!
