Backs:  Cooper Stephens  Ryley Stoddart Brodie Kemp
Half-backs:  Jordan Boyd  Stefan Radovanovic  Sam Ramsay
Centreline:  Matt Cottrell  Lochie O'Brien  Jack Newnes
Half-forwards:  Josh Honey Toby Wooller  Corey Durdin
Forwards:  Ben Crocker  Levi Casboult    Marc Murphy
Followers:  Alex Mirkov    Sam Petrevski-Seton   Jack Carroll
Interchange:  James Parsons    Tom North   Tom Williamson  Cody Hirst
Emergency:   Ed Delaney    Matt Shannon   Aaron Gundry     Ben Caluzzi

This team lacks height still, but at least the forward line now has a marking target or two.
The defence is looking very short.

On paper, this looks like  pretty good team, but there are a few guys here who really do need to start playing nearer to their potential instead of how they are going.

If that team cant win a VFL game we have problems.

Tom Williamson nominally named on the bench....fallen a fair way from his 1st year when he showed plenty.
Agree...that team should flog Port given the number of players with senior experience, hope Boyd repays the faith and can give us something. SPS, Levi, LOB and Murphy looking down the hill with the finish line in sight...

Why are we playing Boyd on a HBF.
If we planned to play him there, why did we draft him at all?!

We must play him on a wing!

Cottrell can play HB. Newnes can play HB. Let Boyd and LOB play on the wing. THAT is where we need them to play in the 1's, let them learn how to play there in the 2's. Thats the point of the 2's isn't it?

Pat Kerr
Have always thought we should have hung on to Pat Kerr. From reports he played some v. good reserves games & probably would have played more AFL other than injury. More potential than Finbar and others perhaps,  but those who watched his games would know.
Anyway his chance to show Carlton recruiters his worth.

I always got the impression that he'd make a good VFL player, but not quite up to AFL standard.
Wasn't quite tall enough, or fast enough, or agile enough to really stand out.

Shifter Sheahan always says that if you wanna make it in the AFL you have to be elite at something. Be that speed, agility, marking, kicking, height(!) anything. Not sure what that would be with Kerr.

Website says his AFL number is 37, but based on previous games I've seen he'll stand out in our squad, look for the guy who can kick 60m and hit a target!
