Yep really sorry you went through it.  No excising any of it.  Wondering how it started so well and then seemingly flipped.  Wondering what else occurred to cause some grief there but being small it was harder to understand.  I dont know but there's no condoning that action.  Was he too of Croatian descent?  I know in the Balkans it's common for wives to stand by their husbands even when they shouldn't.  In this case sounds like that happened with your mum (or a lack of options once the girl arrived).

Hopefully you have a good relationship with your half sister and I mean no blame or shame with this at all.  I just can't understand it which speaks for why I won't perpetuate the cycle of this behaviour more than anything else.

We are all here for you mate.

I was surprised at how many here had Acres in their votes, I thought he made a lot of mistakes.

I think that there'd be no-one to vote for if mistakes meant disqualification.

I gave Acres a vote because I thought that his hard work far outweighed the times he was caught out ... and some of those were the result of teammates not doing their bit.

We play a fairly high risk, high reward game style and it's inevitable that we'll be caught out and punished.  That's OK, provided we can limit how many times that happens.

I can appreciate his inclusion in the votes would be questionable. He did make errors, but he also works his ar$e off. 32 disposals, 6 tackles, 2 clearances, 415 m gained, 89% on ground. I probably overcooked the Jim Park giving him 3 votes, but he deserved votes for the effort and good things he did.

Martin needs to play VFL.

I’ll pass on the “to get injured” comment
🙂

We have few players who can walk straight back into the firsts.  Cerra was clearly underdone last week and may have been better off having a run in the Magoos or as the sub.

Martin is one player who I would bring straight back in.  He doesn’t need to get a lot of the ball to have an impact and we do need to get more out of our small forwards.

At the very least, the opposition defenders have to put work into him.

For me it:

FB Nic Newman   Jacob Weitering   Jordan Boyd
HB Brodie Kemp   Mitch McGovern   Caleb Marchbank
C Blake Acres   Patrick Cripps   Oliver Hollands
HF Matt Cottrell   Charlie Curnow   David Cuningham
FF Tom De Koning   Harry McKay   Matt Owies
F Marc Pittonet   Adam Cerra   Sam Walsh
INT George Hewett   Matthew Kennedy   Elijah Hollands   Corey Durdin
SUB Lachlan Cowan or Alex Cincotta

IN McGovern Kemp Marchbank Hollands
OUT Williams Fantasia Young Cowan or Cincotta

Completely new HB line
Ollie back in on a wing
We played the two rucks, no Harry and won that epic final.
We had Doc and Saady though.
Durdin Cunningham Elijah, consider yourselves lucky. Voss might not be as kind to you.

Apparently, Martin is ready this week too. I'd let Marchbank play the twos as I worry about bringing in too many that have missed a bit of football.
