Nearing half-time
4.6 v 0.0

Some of the most ineffectual footy I've seen in a while. Let's see how competitive this team is... or is not.
Coming together is the beginning.
Keeping together is progress.
Working together is success.
Henry Ford.

Games like that kill Carlton coaches, and I remain wholly unconvinced by this coach.

He might be a great person manager week to week, but the match day stuff seems very ordinary.

It’s hard to be on top of things on match day when you don’t have the cattle.

I’m not sure about the coach, but I’m not sure that he’s had the opportunity to show what he’s got.

Injuries are critical with short seasons.  The sooner the AFLW goes to a six month season the better.

It's untenable, the competition will go bankrupt in one long season!

The AFL can carry the dollar$ over just 8 or 10 rounds, but a full season would be a 3 fold increase in costs losses.

We've got an extra couple wins this year over what i thought we'd get. He has some real....'battlers'....playing acceptable footy most weeks.

Here is our top 10 from the 2021 season....
2021 AFLW Best and Fairest leaderboard
1    Darcy Vescio 66 votes
2   Nicola Stevens 53 votes
3   Kerryn Harrington 49 votes
•    Madison Prespakis 38 votes
•    Georgia Gee 34 votes
•    Grace Egan 34 votes

•    Gabriella Pound 31 votes
•    Breann Moody (29)

•    Jess Hosing (27)

Red is no longer with us.
Orange is out injured
Green is with us and playing.

.....and if i could find the next 10 players, i suspect it would be similar.

Yep, I don't think our inabilities at this stage are due to anything other than our side, over the past few seasons, being gutted.
Only our ruthless best, from Board to bootstudders will get us no. 17

Buck is a known unknown, he's in the honeymoon period normally associated with a fresh faced caretaker coach.

At this stage it looks to me like Buck is tactically lacking for an AFL level competition, the team looks and behaves very suburban.

Of course he has time to develop, and if given the chance he will need to or his 2024 will be very disappointing.
