Not easy bar the Crows and the finals bound teams will be real keen, interesting that Barrett on AFL.coms sliding doors was implying it hasnt been such a great season for Teague in terms of wins and that he will come under pressure.
IMO its more next year where he needs to deliver wins, its been a different year this one and you have to factor that in IMO.

All games are tough but our next 6 are really winnable. Not that we will but I'd like 4 of them.

We've had the frustrating loss to Melbourne, the poor loss to Hawthorn, which most sides have during a season, but then we've had to play Richmond, Port, which was a kick after there siren, West Coast, and St.Kilda, who have been flying. Hawthorn have been really up and down but have beaten Richmond and Brisbane. They were certainly "due" against us as they are not that bad.  So we haven't had it easy. Maybe we should be 5-5 but also have to remember before then we had only won 4 from 43, hence 4 from 10, 4-4 from our last 8 after a poor start, 10 from 21 under Teague is probably not bad. Do need to keep getting better though.

The draw isn't quite as tough now until round 18. Like to win 4 of those, which sides could be random being Carlton, then go into the last game against Brisbane 8-8.

Yep
Next year is the judgement one for Teague (assuming things are back to relative normality.)
With  shortened game time, hubs, lack of home comforts and familiar grounds and the 'topsy turvy' results I don't  think any coach should be under the pump this year.
All pre-season strategies are out the door.
They should all get the opportunity for redemption in 2021.

You can't judge a coach on a season where you have had zero home games.

We should be 5 and 5.

I don't care what anyone says that loss against West Coast was nothing to do with us or West Coast and everything to do with not getting a fair go.

Its the most disgraceful loss I've seen and it wasn't carlton that was disgraced.  I am not a new supporter and I've seen some disgraceful losses but this one is a match I will never forget.

Umpire 7 should be immortalised as well... for all the wrong reasons.

Here's a very simple test for the umpires (particularly 7 & 22) of our game against the Weagles.

The umpires are informed that behind door A is ten Weagles supporters and behind door B is 10 Carlton supporters... you must open one door and walk in, which door is it to be?

I wonder if 7 and 22 are umpiring any games this week? If it wasn't for C-19 they'd be doing the Seaford -9s.

I just realised how well the draw has worked out for us. We have had the bye and only 1 game per week so far. In the remaining games:

R13: GC have a 4 day break prior to this Friday's game - Carlton 6 days. This almost guarantees a win in my opinion.
R14: Coll 6 day break - Carl 8 days
R15: GWS 5 days - Carl 4 days
R16: Syd 5 days - Carl 5 days
R17: Bris - we'll have a 1 day advantage

We really can't complain about the fixture. I know we had to travel to Perth and had a couple of quarantines but if we don't make finals it's really our fault. The GWS match will be tough but there are no 4 vs. 6 day breaks that are going to make it more or less impossible to win (like Collingwood had this week against Melb).

According to Champion Data, we have the easiest run home and have us winning more games than anyone else for the rest of the year. Source: Sam Maclure Twitter.

I did a ladder predictor earlier today.

There are 2 matches that will shape our future.

WB vs Dees. The winner of this is who we are fighting with for 8th spot.
Carl vs Pies. This is the 8-point match. We must beat them if we want to make the 8, and keep them out in the process. If we lose this match, we will likely have to win against GWS and Lions to make the 8 in front of them.

FWIW, i had us winning against Gold Coast, Swans and Crows, losing against GWS and Lions....with the pies match being the 50-50 match.

All other matches were done based on ladder position, with the higher placed team winning.

Swans have now lost Rampe and Hewett for the year...

That should be a straight forward win.
