Yep!

Another come from behind and another shortfall.

So frustrating 😤

We could fall into a barrel full of nipples and still stand and walk out sucking our own thumb.

:))  :))  :)) haven't heard that one, Green Stick. A good belly laugh here. And, sadly, so very apt.

I wonder what we'll be focussing on pre season?

Strangely familiar.

Great fight back though. Takes home ground advantage to another level. Not quite good enough in the end.

We lost but that was a good game to watch. Pity we were so wasteful.

Any danger we can give this bloke a spot on the list now?

He is a footballer, and a match winner.
You can hold him. but you can't stop him.

Crocker had the last 3 shots on goal, and kicked 2.1
He nearly won the game but had zero help down forward. How we expect to win games without a KP player or two down forward is mind boggling.
Clearly a level above his teammates is Crocker and could be that player that ignites a few wins in the seniors if given the chance.
He is battle ready and just needs opportunity...

Feedback on Carroll's game?? The stats would indicate it was a good one....

He was good - could have done a little more in the coal face though. Dow was supreme - hopefully this was a breakout moment for him.

Draw level, kick with a decent wind. How do we not win from there?

Now that it's done and dusted it could be an interesting week as some fates are decided....including the runner's.

The effort comes too late, it's always after the fact.

The problem isn't really the finish, it's the poor use of the wind the first time around, the same applied to the AFL side.

We only chase when we have no choice left but to chase, then when we hit the front we relax and lose!

24 inside 50s for 3.8 in the last qtr.

They had 3 for 2 goals AFTER we drew level and kicking with a big wind.

Getting a bit sick of it. We have to improve on this "typical Carlton" crap.

Haven't seen the game yet; I was at a wedding. To kick 3 goals 8 in the last quarter to lose ... this is too much like the Carlton of 2022. It really does break the heart.
From the stats:
[1] Dow showed how good he could be. 41 possessions and 15 clearances! Can he do it in the seniors? Damned good question.
[2] We struggled all year without a key forward. Crocker did the job, but he isn't 195 cm+. Really amazing, considering the structural issues our team had.
[3] Mirkov really won the rucks. He had 52 taps!
[4] Ned Cahill wants a chance. Can we give it to him? He had 10 tackles as a small forward.
