I like Cottrell.
He goes about his business without a lot of flair but  he gives the impression that he gives 100%
And he has a bit of value.

He's one of those type of guys who just goes under the radar a bit, but you look up one day and find he's played 100 games.

Likewise. Maturing beautifully.

Sitting 3rd end of round.
Equal 2nd.
When was the last time that happened?

Is that a memory test?

Too long a time ago. Hawthorn and Collingwood have helped that situation.
This digital world is too much for us insects to understand.

While I do not want to detract from Weitering's efforts against Franklin, and I would still give Weitering top votes for the game as I did, having just watched the replay time is up for Franklin he's cooked!

He has lost his zip, and although Weitering's is a big strong lad he's not that strong and Buddy couldn't move him. Franklin will still have the odd good game, he'll do OK when he gets a favourable match up like a couple of times he ended up opposed to Plowman or Newman, but he should retire before he becomes a parody of himself, he'll start getting frustrated and desperate next and you'll know what happens then!

Let it go Buddy, while you've still got some juice in the tank, leave them wanting more rather than wishing you'd already left!

Id say the Ratten era.  This late in the season though, David Parkin was coaching us the last time we were in this situation for sure.

Yeah probably 2000 was the last time I felt confident before injury decimated our chances (Kouta  :'(  I think Ratten's elbow was in 2001
