Carlton dog names

I have just acquired a Chocolate Border Collie pup and want to give it a Carlton name.
Our last dog was a black and white border collie named Jezza, the name was perfect for him and so I would like to continue with a blues theme.
So far Juddy is the favourite, others include
Desiel
Simmo
Kouta

Any other ideas? :)

Have a black lab called Murphy.

Very nearly called him Eddie and Fev. Choosing a current player is fraught with risk.

Simmo is a good one.

What about a cryptic name like 'Vinnie' after Vinnie 'the Cat' Cattoggio?

Might be competing with Brynne's pooch if you go that way.

Personally, i'd go with a running player as Border Collies are active working dogs.

Sorry to bring this up again with all the other unfortunate stuff going on, but I have finally named my little mutt.
It is something from left field but still with a Carlton feel.

Percy!

When he gets a little bit older and bigger I think it will fit him fine. :)
Cheers for you suggestions.

Got a (much needed) laugh out of this subject.

Must admit I liked 'knackers'... top name for a critter.

Being a huge dog lover (not in the biblical sense) and a fan of bigger dogs -- had Dobes & Ridgees all my life -- I've always gone for names of our more ruthless players. Rhys, Dommi, Vinnie... have figured a lot!  :)
Only our ruthless best, from Board to bootstudders will get us no. 17
