Robert Heatley Stand / 2017 Jim Park Voting Rd #2: Carlton vs Melbourne
I'll be there if my kidney stones allow it. I'm getting more stones than Casboult gets goals. But, ....

Nobody is giving us much of a chance. My daughter read that 6% of the tipsters are going for us. But we are not that bad.

Remember:
[1] At least 3 players need to get a mention.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player.
[3] Give a rating of team performance. It can be anywhere from A+ to F.
[4] Votes must add up to 15.

It is hard to appreciate that the round starts tomorrow night, but we don't play until next month.

Robert Heatley Stand / 2017 Rd 2 Pre Game Panic Carlton vs Melbourne
I don't know that I want to consider our next game yet, but I guess we have to. Hiding from it will not make it better.
We will need to have some changes, as a few guys really failed to fire last night. Dennis is particular must be under pressure on that effort.

Robert Heatley Stand / 2017 Jim Park Medal Analysis:
It will be nice to get back to 'normal' (what is 'normal'?)
Here will be the summary of the votes and whatnots.
At this early stage I have no idea who is going to stand out.

Robert Heatley Stand / 2017 Jim Park Voting Rd 1: Carlton vs Richmond
I'll have to get back in the groove. I've been pretty busy lately and not spending as much time as I could here. But I will be organized.
Remember:
[1] At least 3 players need to get a mention.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player.
[3] Give a rating of team performance. It can be anywhere from A+ to F.
[4] Votes must add up to 15.

Have to get the spreadsheet ready. :)

Ladies Lounge / AFLW Round 3: Carlton vs Adelaide
I've been a tad busy this week, but I do apologize for not starting this thread earlier. It is sad to think that this is almost half way through the season! (Well, 37.5% to be exact.)

I hope to be at next week's game: I won't be in Adelaide. I've been to many of the grounds there, but I haven't been to Thebarton. Some other day.
I will be recovering from yet another kidney stone operation. It is becoming a ritual, but one I would cease if I could. So cheer loudly for me!

Ladies Lounge / AFLW Round 2: Carlton vs GWS at Ikon
This weekend the victorious Blues take on a young and inexperienced GWS side at Princes Park around 1700. Things may do some changing yet, as Collingwood will probably have to move their game from Olympic Park, at that centre simply cannot handle the number of people likely to come to that game. However, whatever they do about timings and the like, the Blues WILL be playing GWS.

Last weekend GWS lost. They showed their relative inexperience, although they do have talent (where have I seen that before?). Our list looks a little more likely, but you can NEVER take anything for granted. Disrepecting your opposition is a certain way to be embarrassed.
I'll publish the teams on Friday.

Ladies Lounge / ALFW B&F Thread
Ladies and gentlemen, the moderating team has posed an interesting question that only you, the potential voters, can answer. What was posed was the existence of an ALFW B&F award.

So, we need to answer a lot of questions and suggestions to the moderating team will be gratefully accepted.
[1] Do you want one?
[2] What should it be called?
[3] What should the winner get?
You get the idea.

It was determined that we should have a 3 - 2 - 1 award at this point, until we can determine what may be the best long term solution (assuming the people want to vote at all).
So, I'll start things off. However, please consider the necessities of this award. Even if there is an overwhelming voter response, we still have a lot of work to do before we can get something like the Jim Park.

Round 1: Carlton vs Collingwood:
[3]   Brianna Davey
[2]   Darcy Vescio
[1]   Danielle Hardiman

With apologies to Bianca Jakobsson, Nat Exon, Laura Attard and Lauren Arnell, all of whom deserve a vote.

Blah-Blah Bar / Christmas Wishes 2016
To all of you who help to make this site what it is, Merry Christmas! I hope the Christmas period brings you health, wealth and happiness.

What Christmas Gift would you like to get under Christmas Tree?

Ladies Lounge / 2016 Women's Draftees
There probably will be individual threads welcoming some major new Blues later today. I would like to know more, as I have not been on top of the female football to date.
However, I thought it a good idea that I list the individual draftees. We have 19 picks apparently.

Robert Heatley Stand / Jim Park Voting: Rd 23: Carlton vs Drug Cheats
