I'll be at this one and I've missed too many this year. But at least my votes will make sense, assuming they ever make sense. I guess will have to make the most of this week, as, unless the games are actually being televised for a change, I don't expect to see much of the next 2 games (being in Sydney and Launceston). With our relatively poor showing in recent times the number of voters has dropped off: I can understand that. But I would like to put my 2 cents worth in (and do encourage as many of you as possible to vote, as it makes the voting system work better), so it frustrates me not knowing enough to reasonably contribute.
Remember: [1] At least 3 players need to get a mention. [2] No more than 10 votes for any one player. [3] Give a rating of team performance. It can be anywhere from A+ to F. [4] Votes must add up to 15.
Well after 2 shocking weeks, the NBs have to show something. The relative lack of spirit, skill and 4 quarter effort has a chance to be reversed, even though the game will be in the mud heap at Eureka Oval. With the works going on there I expect some really ordinary conditions. Hopefully we can show what we want to see.

Thus game was set for Ikon Park, but has again been moved to Preston. Still on Saturday at 1400. The curtain raiser is a female game starting at 1100.
I don't know why the game is being moved. I can't imagine that the ground is in any worse condition that Preston is (the middle there is shocking). However, that is how it is working out.
Sunday 10th July at 1310 hours at the MCG. Last year we scared the pants off this mob and were extremely unlucky to lose. Adelaide are playing better, but we are actually playing football.

This week the Blues play the Meat Pies at the Holden Centre as sort of the Curtain Raiser at 1600 this Saturday. That way we may be able to see the game before the Blues - Pies game. The Meat Pies have been winners lately, not as impressively as Sandringham, but winning all the same. As such the Blues are going to have play decently.
Next Saturday night. The Meat Pies are playing well. We are not, somewhat off the boil in the last few weeks. It will be interesting to see if we can rise to the occasion.
I will be unlikely to vote this week, as I am very unlikely to see anything of the game. Hopefully we can perform better than we did against St Kilda.

With the game in Sydney and only on Fox, I won't be seeing this week's game any time soon. Pity, but it has happened quite a lot this year. I can't remember a year when I have not been able to see so many games while actually being in the country! Those lucky enough to be there, shout loud for me! At least I'll be able to see the Northern Blues on TV.
Anyway, I got this ready, as I have no idea how busy I'll be in the morning. I look forward to a much better performance than we showed against St Kilda.
