Our next game is against Sandringham at 1410 on Saturday 25th. Our team will be missing at least 1 of the emergencies that will be named next Thursday. It will be very interesting to see who plays.
The return of the Prodigal Sons: with such a strong link between GWS and Carlton now, it will be interesting to see how we go, who stands up, and who makes the other regret their decisions. The game is in Sydney at Spotless at 1635 in the afternoon. It will not be on free to air TV: I can barely remember the last time we were.
For the 2nd time this season the Baby Blues have a bye. In some ways it is useful: it allows the whole group to have a few days off and refresh. But guys like Silvagni, Sheehan and Korchek need time on the park.
This week we get to watch while a few other teams flog themselves to death (hopefully). We have a fortnight to get over our poor showing and do our homework on the Giants. They look good at the moment.
Remember: [1] At least 3 players need to get a mention. [2] No more than 10 votes for any one player. [3] Give a rating of team performance. It can be anywhere from A+ to F. [4] Votes must add up to 15.
I'll be at this one so I will be voting. Now we just need to get the correct result.
Change computers an try again. I've tried starting this thread 3 time now, to have the 'net drop out each time. So, here we go again!
I really want to win this. St Kilda's attitude needs adjustment. As I will be there, I am hoping for the correct result. I'll edit the Title when I get home after the game.
I'm home and I think the title fits well. Not impressed.
On Saturday at 1400, the Blues play Box Hill, a team we have struggled to beat in recent times. based on ladder positions alone, the expectation would be for this trend to continue. But I'm not so sure. However, much will depend on who is fit and who gets held over as Emergency for Sunday's game against St. Kilda.

There hasn't been a VFL game at Carlton for some time now, but that changes this Sunday at 1400. The Baby Blues face up to might of Frankston, a team we pounded by 25 goals last year. I do not expect the same result: Frankston are going OK while Northern are lacking a lot of experienced bodies and no small number of Carlton listed players.
I'm going to the game again! Sei danket Gott! I have suffered terribly, missing 2 games I would usually be at with bells on. Brisbane: played well for 3 quarters before capitulating totally. But they beaten us larely and I don't like it. Robbo has been trying to stir up the hatred and his form has been good.
