Robert Heatley Stand / Rd 7: Jim Park Voting: Carlton vs Collingwood
Getting ready for a busy weekend. Saturday afternoon footy: I seem to remember it.... :)

We certainly haven't beaten the Meat Pies for a while. To use an ancient slogan, 'Its Time!"

Remember:
[1] At least 3 players need to get a mention.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player.
[3] Give a rating of team performance. It can be anywhere from A+ to F.
[4] Votes must add up to 15.

Robert Heatley Stand / VFL Rd 5: Northern Blues vs Casey Scorpions
Next Sunday, down at Casey, at 1400 the Baby Blues get a chance to redeem themselves after the setback they experienced this week.
There will be a number of questions, basically in who, if any, of the missing Carlton listed players come back.
Walker, Sheehan, etc, have to come up this week.

The Development team get to play Casey again, at 1100 as a curtain raiser. Scorpions: I can't seem to be able to spell at the moment.

Robert Heatley Stand / Rd 6: Jim Park Voting: Carlton vs. Essendon
A late Sunday afternoon game this week. Hopefully we can do better against the drug Cheats than we did at Ikon Park earlier this year.

Robert Heatley Stand / VFL Rd 4: Northern Blues vs Collingwood
VFL Round 4: Match of the Day? Well, may not, but it is important anyway. Why? The Blues take on Collingwood at Preston City Oval at 1400 hours.
The development team play against Coburg at Preston at 1100 hours as the curtain raiser.

Now Collingwood seniors have been struggling, but the Drug Cheats VFL team pounded them by close to 15 goals o the weekend. So, unlike last year when they embarrassed us, we have a quite reasonable chance.

Robert Heatley Stand / Rd 6: Pre Game Palaver: Carlton vs. Essendon
Sunday May 1st at 1520 at the MCG. It is our home game.
Some wags out there have claimed that this game is the 'GF' for us and the Drug Cheats. I find that unlikely, as there are some ordinary teams out there. However, I hope to see a LOT of Carlton supporters at this game. I really want to give it to the Drug Cheats.

Robert Heatley Stand / Rd 5: Jim Park Voting: Carlton vs. Fremantle
2nd time lucky: my connection didn't quite manage to create this thread earlier today.
Nichevo.
To those who will be at the game live or have Pay TV, I envy you. I will have to fix that issue.
Hopefully there will be plenty of reasons to vote after this round!

Robert Heatley Stand / VFL Rd3: Northern Blues vs. Port Melbourne
With Carlton in Perth this weekend, drop down to Preston City Oval at 1400 on Saturday and you get to see the Baby Blue strut their stuff.
Mind you, Port beat us only a couple of weeks back, but I expect the team to be significantly different. Could be a very interesting line-up with the possible return of Walker and maybe more.

Robert Heatley Stand / Jim Park Voting: Rd 4: Carlton vs. Western Bulldogs
It is almost time to get on the train, or in the car (I haven't worked out which, yet).
Not sure what we've got in store tonight, but I am hopeful for a better showing than last week.

Robert Heatley Stand / Rd 4: In Game Attitude: Carlton vs. Western Bulldogs
I will be at this game, so have fun with this thread. Hopefully we can be more impressive than last week.

By the way, I named this week's threads with the type (in game, post game, etc.) first, so that it would be easier to identify Do you like it this way?

Robert Heatley Stand / VFL Rd 2: Northern Blues vs. Geelong
Northern Blues take on Geelong this week at the cattery at 1900 hours on Friday Night.
I'm not sure how deep their list is, but our last quarter fade out and generally ordinary skills don't leave me with a huge amount of confidence.

The NB 2nds play their opening game against Casey at Casey on Saturday at 1200 midday. I am more confident about this one, as there should be a few Carlton listed players available to play.
