Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Post Game Parlay: AFL 2019 Rd 3: Carlton vs Sydney
One of the reasons for this is that most superstars have natural ability, and a lot of the time they just play on instinct rather than playing to orders. Sure they have a role, but the way they go about it is generally left up to them, or game plans built around them.

I'm definitely no fan or honorable losses. I remember thinking during the last game "I am so sick of losing"
I want to be able to start watching games with my son. At the moment Im shielding him from games as I know he wont continue supporting if we are losing every week, and at 6 years old, why would he.
BUT..
Seriously, this is the 4th coach we have had since we were last successful.
When does it become something other than the coach that is causing our losses?
When does it become a folly to keep sacking coaches for lack of results?
4 coaches who have struggled to get the team working properly. That tells me more about the team than it does about just the coach.
We are turning over around 25% of our list each year. That may be one reason we seem to lack cohesion, and why we are struggling to get with a game plan consistently.

The theory I’ve heard postulated regarding the Irish guys and even Cox is that they have never developed bad habits so they are basically learning the correct way to kick from day dot.
I don’t really know either way, I am really just regurgitating what I hear.

I thought Dow had one of his worst game for the Club last Sat v Syd. He seemed to miss targets, goals and was generally messy with some of his disposals. But to his credit, he worked his ass off. He is a jet though and is entitled to an off game every now and then.

Dow's disposal was off, and from memory he got caught with the ball a few times.
He works very hard though, he gets into good positions and he tackles.
Reminds me so much of Judd... Even his kicking for goal is the same.

I thought Plowman worked hi way into the game.
He seems for me anyway, to be one of those players who you don't necessarily notice too much, but he will bob up and take a nice mark or a nice spoil from time to time. But if you watch him closely he does a lot of good positional work that he probably doesnt get credit for.

LP...Tigers move it quick and even use the tap on to advantage to keep the ball rolling their way.....they love that overlap play with the joe the goose goal and work hard for each other to make it happen.
Its a supporter nightmare watching it unfold as you can see 2-3 plays ahead whats going to happen if they get the break after those tap ons to advantage.
Ed is a tagger but doesnt have much offensive nous and plays old school footy. Charlie looked like he was expecting the ball to find him rather than him get the ball and maybe the bathwater got a bit high and he has been swallowing it rather than bathing in it....

Charlie might have been expecting the ball to come to him, but even when it did, he couldnt take a grab.
Probably the worst game Ive seen from CC. Willing to forgive him a bit given his potential, but he is going to have to start taking his game to the next level. 22yrs old, has showed what he is capable of in brief spurts, but the excitement needs to translate into form and consistency.

Still not able to find the group...

I am on the League page, I have been put in a random public league.
I hit the group button -> create or join a group
Put in the number 828775
Hit the "join group" button and it tells me "could not find group with that code

Is there some other place I should be searching for the group?

Studying for exams this next 4 months so not sure whether I will have time to keep up with it or not, so apologies now if I let it slide.
