Ump was feeling the pressure. Simmo was giving him lip, for what was a correct call by the ump, and being so close to the crowd he was getting a massive bake as well. Williamson tries to be a bit cute and the ump pulls the trigger.
Frankly , I get the absolute craps with players whinging about decsions the know are correct. Sheedy started that crap as a tactic to get umps to second guess themselves and award less kicks against and more kicks for the Bombers.
Every time a player opens his gob it should be 50m and then all this melodrama would stop with a month and the game would flow much better.
Carlisle is on the ground and Murphy's just given him a serve while he's running past.
Hardly anything to get worked up about. The crap stains just went after him because he was carving them up and he's skipper.
Don't forget this mobs treatment of an injured Ed Curnow. For Murph to have been even close to that he'd have had to kick Carlisle in the nuts while he was down.
These selections are part of the rebuild. We would have a better winning chance with Smedts and Kerridge but the two ins are very good prospects and we have to get games into them. I agree with it, there's no other way.
I reckon there might be a some shuffling of players leading up to the bye and there's a Perth trip in there as well.
Everyone who was disappointed that Cuningham or Polson didn't get selected well, this week Kerridge and Graham aren't there to get it 35 times .
Cuningham needs to get it 25+ times or have a even spread of influential possessions throughout the game, not his 10 minute burst and then disappear for 2 quarters.
Simply cannot have Kerridge, Buckley nor Boekhorst playing ones.
Jones should be considered. Reckon he could hold down a key defensive post myself. Could also play ruck/forward. His effort, tackling, grunt work and general physicality would be very, very handy!!! Much just depends on the structure they want, how many talls, Kreuzer, etc?
I don't think any player can be written off until de-listing.
I watched On the couch and Healy bought up our list of inexperienced kids. He said it may be dangerous bringing in too many at once. Dunstall disagreed saying, just get games into them. Effectively sink or swim.
Was interesting Monday night after Melbourne lost everyone on fox sympathied saying they were short a ruckman etc and Dunstall said they just need to find a way to win these games.
