WTF is that jumper?

Special edition, heritage style jumper with the names of every carlton player on the back, and names of members who fronted up a sum to get their name on the front. Of which, i was one.

Great start, Menzel and Docherty killing it!
Title: Re: Blues v Crows - In game thread
Post by: kruddler on May 25, 2014, 05:13:23 pm
While not playing great, we are still pressuring well.

If we continue to pressure the ball carrier, and don't give the likes of Betts and Dangerfield any time and space, we will give our backs best chance to stop their tall timber.

Quick turnarounds is giving menzel every opportunity up forward, and that kid doesn't need many opportunities to make an impact, genuine star in the making.

Adelaide are playing a crap game plan.

Flood their defensive 50 and putting heaps of numbers behind the ball.

Need to make some better decisions when ball is in hand.
Adelaide are sh1te, we should be 3 to 4 goals up.

I'm not fussed if this is the ugliest game ever and both sides look like crap....as long as we get the 4 points ;)

But were aren't and thats one of our problems, we aren't good enough to make poor teams pay.

What do they do in pre-season?

Adelaide are playing a crap game plan.

Flood their defensive 50 and putting heaps of numbers behind the ball.

Its not their game plan that is causing them issues, its our pressure.

We are not allowing them to get any time or space.

The players pressure is up, they are being disciplined in manning up and although our skills haven't been great, we are forcing them to make errors.

It's pretty obvious we are not .. 3 to 4 in front nor making the decisions to be further in front..

I'll be happy if we can dig deep in the second and get over the line.

We've broken the game open now.

As long as we can withstand whatever run Adelaide get on later in this game (it will happen at one stage) we will be ok.

...lets hope this isn't the start of the run.  :-\

Ump wasn't stupid, Menzel was.

That happens 100 times a game, the ump didn't give him a chance to get back. How many times do we hear umps saying 'come back 2 meters!' Why not penalise people instead of giving them that opportunity? Why penalise Menzel instead of giving him the opportunity?
Title: Re: Blues v Crows - In game thread

According to Dunstall and Healy it was good umpiring.

I think I have witnessed the dumbest 10 minutes I have ever seen.

Poke kicks out of the Backline
Stupid free kicks and 50 metre penalties
Numerous shank kicks
Kicking into the man on the mark.

WTF, WTF, WTF, WHAT THE F?

Who the feck is our kicking coach, do we have one?
Thomas, out on the full.
Waite, a point, from POINT BLANK RANGE.
Walker, crape kick

WTF???

Henderson and Ellard might not as well be playing..
Brocks brain fade running through the centre... Yazz missing that goal cost us a chance to really deflate them.. Instead they go down the other end and kick 1..
That 50m penalty was total BS...
WTF has happened to warnock in the 3rd... Jacobs slaughtering him.

AND FFS..IF DANGERFIELD COMES BACK ON, CRUNCH HIM AGAIN.

Finally get to tune in to the match late in the third to find we are just over three goals up.

In the space of the time-on period, we are now 1-point down at 3/4 time.

Do any of these guys have a concept of protecting a lead going into a break ??

And as for Walker's shot after the siren, FFS, surely he could of at worst, kicked a point to level it up instead of missing everything badly.

Gibbs drops a regulation overhead mark from a pass from Yarran and then refuses to chase or contest once it left his hands.

screwing pathetic !!!   >:D

According to Dunstall and Healy it was good umpiring.

According to Healy 2 weeks ago, Casboult isn't a bad kick at goal and is improving.

Worst kick in the AFL!

Betts outsmarts both Yarran & Walker to kick a great goal for them, but those two Blues should be hanging their heads in shame. One of them should of taken a clean mark.
