Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.
I hope we play the way we want to play, as I want to have difficulty casting votes. Because so many need a mention, this is.

Team: B
We gutsed out a game against a team that has troubled us. Hawthorn may have a better game style than we do, but we won the contests when it counted.
Votes:
[3] Sam Walsh
[2] Sam Docherty
[2] Adam Saad
[2] Ed Curnow
[1] Marc Pittonet
[1] Jacob Weitering
[1] Liam Jones
[1] Zac Williams
[0.5] Patrick Cripps
[0.5] Matthew Cottrell
[0.5] Liam Stocker
[0.5] Nick Newman
Explanations:
[3] Sam Walsh: 30 quality possessions, an excellent goal and great leadership in the middle of the ground.
[2] Sam Docherty: Very much a return to form for Doc. He didn’t get beaten in the air by his opponents, he ran and made some great decisions.
[2] Adam Saad: An excellent game, even if Breust escaped once.
[2] Ed Curnow: A very solid effort against from Curnow.
[1] Marc Pittonet: The ruck duel was critical, and Pitto won it. The he went forward and managed a couple of goals. Good.
[1] Jacob Weitering: Destroyed his opponent.
[1] Liam Jones: Ditto.
[1] Zac Williams: Much better in defence. His run and carry was excellent.
[0.5] Patrick Cripps: 25 possessions, tackles and a lot of bullocking. Solid.
[0.5] Matthew Cottrell: Not as much of the ball as he can get, but he did well and was rarely beaten.
[0.5] Liam Stocker: Had 2 kicked against him, but he had the best of the duel and he provided some timely drive.
[0.5] Nick Newman: Not quite as good as last week, but solid and effective. A couple of shocking kicking errors to get out of his system.
Honourable Mentions:
Will Setterfield: Probably deserved votes, but we had a very even performance today.
Marc Murphy: Ditto
Tom de Koning: Tom will be better for the outing, and he showed why he is as important as he has become.
Eddie Betts: A couple of Eddie moments, a couple of goals and a lot of hard work.

Stocker still not quite in the best half dozen, but he looks more than comfortable and has a crack. He might end up being SOS's wild card legacy of his time as list manager.....
