Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.
I always enjoy the analysis of the voting when we win ... Maybe the guys will realize that and produce the result we all want.
What, no one deserves votes?

Saad probably deserved votes, as did Newman who was playing consistently well until injured.
Team: C-
For much of the game we were competitive. It was only after Eddie kicked that miracle goal that things really fell apart. But our weakness in the ruck was lethal, not to mention our poor kicking.
Votes:
[3.5] Sam Walsh
[2.5] Jacob Weitering
[2.5] Liam Jones
[1] Adam Saad
[1] Nick Newman
[1] Zac Williams
[1] Patrick Cripps
[0.5] Will Setterfield
[0.5] Marc Murphy
[0.5] Paddy Dow
[0.5] Matthew Owies
[0.5] Jack Silvagni
Explanations:
[3.5] Sam Walsh: What a player!
[2.5] Jacob Weitering: Great job in defence. Totally outpointed his opponents.
[2.5] Liam Jones: Also, a very solid job in defence.
[1] Adam Saad: tried hard, got a fair bit of ball and kept his man quiet.
[1] Nick Newman: After a chocking start, Newman really picked up.
[1] Zac Williams: Solid in defence
[1] Patrick Cripps: Not bad but didn’t have the impact we are used to seeing from him.
[0.5] Will Setterfield: Brilliant early but dropped out of the game totally.
[0.5] Marc Murphy: After a pretty good start he also drifted out of the game.
[0.5] Paddy Dow: Worked his way into the game and provided a few nice clearances.
[0.5] Matthew Owies: Like Eddie, Matt Owies did very nicely when he got the ball, but didn’t get it enough.
[0.5] Jack Silvagni: Started very well and always put in.
Honourable Mentions:
Tom de Koning: Had he kicked that goal from 20 m out, then he would have had 3 and deserved a vote. His ruckwork was not up to his normal standard, but he was a long way from our worst.
Jack Newnes: 14 possessions in 2.5 quarters was solid.
Eddie Betts: Eddie didn’t get enough of the ball, but when it got it, something happened. A few more possessions and he would definitely be vote-worthy.

Walsh is an enigma, not sure he deserved 5 for his skills or effectiveness, but for effort and application he deserved 15. No matter what goes right or wrong, he just rolls on to the next contest with the same high level of intensity.
For me much the same applies to Weitering, might have b0rked up a few disposals, but shizen we're forked if these guys don't stick around long term!
Not wanting to disrespect Doc or Cripps, but in Weitering and Walsh I'm seeing Captain and Vice Captain with at best a coin toss between them!
