Fantastic mark to McKay in the goalsquare. As Walsh was running in the centre square, he noticed LOB beside him and gave him the honour of a F50 kick. Perfect long kick led to a teammate on the 50 set up the chance for McKay to mark. Maybe Walsh knows something about his ability to deliver.

The expert comments guys made a good point, noting that when Carlton turned the ball over with absolute clangers, we swarmed back to get the ball back. In recent years, those turnovers would have ended up in walk-in goals.

I think LOB's playing well too. I guess it's hard to resist milking frees in front of goal, particularly when he had a career highlight last week when he legitimately won a free kick for high contact and he kicked an important goal. I'd imagine he put that one in his toolkit after the game.

De knoning needs to come in to the ruck
Ruck contests are a bit like a secret society getting together. It's hard to figure out who'll get the free. But at centre bounces, if you jump early into the opponent and then land before you tap, you often get done for blocking. Same with running across the line to body out the player running in.
