I think it was a hand to the head from Polson after the initial tackle.

Hopefully we've had our Off q, and play the next 2q.
And yes, some poor umpiring decisions- all to Lions advantage 9 - 1. Seriously. What are the chances?

If you initiate the high contact, you should not get a free.....unless your name is Joel Selwood.

Rich literally ran into him with his head. NOT polsons fault, Rich's fault. So why penalise Polson?

It’s irrelevant who’s fault it is. You cannot collect a player high.

Is it the tacklers fault that Selwood ducks and the tackler collect him high. Nope but paid every time.

That’s the rule and some players know how to draw fees from it

Strangely we're getting enough of the ball. Ball use though??

Teague's giving them a big spray 😁

One of the positives for me is Kennedy who is getting some ball and showing a bit of aggression

Teague has gone berserk in the rooms. Lots of F words in that lot. $hit he looked angry.

Under the new tightened interpretation, if a tackle is reasonable and the ball carrier is responsible for the high contact via a "shrug, drop, arm lift or duck, play on should be called".

If you don't believe me, Murphy tried to do a selwood and the umpire flatly (and loudly) said "NO" as it was clear Murphy contributed to the high contact (as per rule above). - I think it was the freo game.

3 goals from extremely doubtful free kicks, typical and we get nothing from those muppets.  The channel 7 commentary makes me spew up.

You cannot run into players with your head ffs!

Umps get your hands off it - that’s two non free kicks resulting in two goals to them. Pathetic.

In saying that, Carlton. Can we please. Stop. Kicking. To.Opposition. Out. Of.defence. Ffs!

Another positive is watching Teague losing it at half time. About time.

Richo has become an absolute flog.

Not before time Jim
Probably find he does it a few times. We just don't see what happens behind closed doors. With some, what you see publicly and what you see behind closed doors can be two different things. Can't not coach Carlton and not lose it a few times....lol.

McGovern in defence is the right move and that should be continued. He was very unlucky to be penalised for that crunching tackle.

It’s ok to not always have to prove the other posters your right.

If you collect a player high, it’s a free. He got him high hence why the free was paid.
