Weak links please?  Have no in game vid.
Our kicking is terrible, Defenders just don't stay with their men. Forward line is Casboult and nothing else..
Their defenders clearing the ball too easily, no pressure from a very slow forward line.

Kicking atrocious
10 metres behind on the spread
Ball movement way too slow
Structure a mess
McGovern’s failure to attack a contest at CHF in the 2nd qtr downright embarrassing

All not good
Teague a lot of work to do

Probably the worst we've played this year. It is extraordinary how poor our skills are.

On the positive side we're (just) still in it but this could easily get ugly in the second half if Port step it up a notch.

When our skills are that poor usually means we are not as switched on as we should be.....again!

Trying to play the chip chip chip game plan was not working.

Being more direct and through the guts was the change that needed to be made. We looked a lot more dangerous once we did that, but its our last kick inside 50, and our kicking at goal that has let us down. We turn it over there and they clear it end to end and score.

We are terrible tonight esp Cripps. Levi good though. Our execution has been really bad and we have missed 3 easy goals at least. Walsh fantastic early but seems to have faded. We really need to focus in the 2nd half and we could be in with a show.
Reality always wins in the end.

As usual not wanting it badly enough. In the end, motivation comes from within and we don't bring it every week.

Jones getting flogged by Georgiades needs moving to get him in the play.
Cripps has to make more effort to be accountable too, can't continue vs good teams with his man free and running loose.

Carlton are the worst kicks in the competition. Carlton are the worst two way runners in the competition.
Carlton are the worst team at manning up during transition in play.  >:D

Gary Lyon said we are 18th in the comp for brining the ball from defensive 50 to score.

If Cripps' career started at the beginning of last year he would be a B grade player who would be getting crap canned ere every week for his stupidity.

Not over yet and we can still win providing we
can slow Port down, apply some forward pressure and generate some turnovers.

You mean getting a bad run from supporters because of a couple of errors he has made, and looking bad because he is the one who covers for the lose men and all the good he is doing is going being largely ignored?

Yes, yes he is.

What a fragmented, disjointed side we are. Port going at around 80% efficiency... too little pressure. Again.

What does it take to get these blokes 'on' and at least seemingly on the same page?
Only our ruthless best, from Board to bootstudders will get us no. 17

We've played like we never thought we have a chance of winning. Port have played like they know they'll win.
