Arm wrestle so far, I expect us to get on top in the 2H.

That goal all from a turnover in F50 from a s-house lazy kick by H.

Because we're really in the position to toy with the bottom sides and put the foot down when we need to.

I just read through all 3 pages. What i can't understand is..... you guys know we are winning right?!

Nothing but negativity.
What the hell is wrong with people??

We could come out with a 10 goal win from here, yet all I see is negativity.

Been a big arm wrestle so far, but I think we've come out on top. We can break gold coast from here and bury them without too much drama.
I said in one of my posts that I reckon we should still win this, but the facts are the facts.
It's been a half arsed effort, passengers galore, and all the criticism that I and others have levelled at the players thus far, has been fully deserved.

Aside from a win, we badly need to improve our percentage and that aint happening when we are only three points in front as I type this.

So, you can cop all the mediocrity you like, most of us on here are sickened by it.

Yes, we're in front, K, but I think most folks are more on about the softer effort compared to last week - about half as many tackles.

I also reckon folks reasonably expect us to account for this mob much more convincingly. Plus you can see some bad old habits back again. That's what irks us... softer attitude, softer intensity.

But it is only one half. We have the 2nd half to play closer to our potential rather than 1st half display. They're on top in too many important stats for us to be comfortable about being 2 kicks in front.
Only our ruthless best, from Board to bootstudders will get us no. 17

The 1st goal of the 3rd-Qtr shows GC rolled the dice and kept 3 players forward of our defence. If we are smart users and they keep doing that we should keep the footy.

Yep, interesting to see how things go, losing Ellis is a big deal for them and us, he always plays well against us.

I thought Neil Craig retired when he left us, now he's sitting on the bench for the opposition?

GC are reasonable ball users, probably better than us, can't assume anything.
"Retired"? People dont retire at Carlton, they are moved on. Craig went overseas to work with a rugby team from memory, returned home when covid hit. GC snapped him up.

Poor from Dow, spectating the contest again, that is the second time he has watched an opponent rove a marking contest in our D50 and goal.

One of the features of the In-Game thread is it's a reflection of a moment in time.
Folks often say things early in a game about how poor we're travelling and the fact is it's true at the time of writing.
Now read in retrospect it's sometimes funny when things turn around and we end up winning.
At the moment, with 11and a half minutes to go in the third, we're struggling against this mob and it's 'chalk and cheese' compared to last week.
I think we'll probably end up winning but the effort and pressure isn't nearly the same.

Such a typical Carlton performance  - can’t ever put in a convincing effort when it’s expected to.
