Heard Darcy this morning completely dismiss any chance of us winning, already I feel confident of an upset!! Eddie rightly pointed out that the Swans have injury worries and that on that ground Mick has a good record and would be better for us.
Need to wait and see who is available before getting a feel for the game. Mick doesn't usually make a lot of changes once he has a settled side.
Bells kicking wasn't great at all but he found the ball when others couldn't and moved fast for a big kid in the second half. Needs work but is what we need.
It's why, for all the frustration at times, players like Bell and Robbo are so important in tough finals.
We learnt how important Waite and Betts are too and why I'd be happy to pay the latter good $$$$
Gibbs was masssive in that game. 18 contested possessions and 12 clearances.
Belongs in the Midfield.....permenantly
Its not like we haven't been saying that for the past 5-6 years though, maybe he will become the player we always thought he would if he stays there.
maybe we'll be the team we want to be if we play at least 3 1/2 quarters.
Some of you may have noticed Ch.7 people wearing red and black ties or pins.
The whole coverage was pro-Nthmond, because they are mostly anti-Carlton, but are you really surprised???
So the day is here!. Can't wait to hop in the car and head to the "g". Heart says we can win, head says rich have been the better side all year and finals have a way of sorting out the men from the boys. Here's hoping the head doesn't no s#*t. Finally here's hoping for a late change, we are definitely 1 defender short atm
Tomorrow could be doubly sweet.
We beat Nthmond, Buckley is out and MM coaches Carlton to a win!
Stick it to two clubs in one game!
