Robert Heatley Stand / Re: AFL Rd 20 2022 Pre Game Prognostications Carlton vs Adelaide
He's being managed surely, otherwise this is a senseless omission.
I think it's about time we address the elephant in the room. CRIPPS.
Fair to say he has been dogshiit for 2 months now. He is the one that needs a rest for finals not JSOS.
I know each week what JSOS will bring, Cripps not so much.
Tell me a more overrated player in the comp right now that is not getting hammered by the press because of what he has produced in the past. Time for people to just admit it. We've seen the best of him and should've been traded him last year. Walsh is the standout leader and soon enough they will recognise it and move on.
Sending the wrong message dropping heart and soul players like JSOS.
That's my rant.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: 2018 Rd 3: Pre game Palaver; Carlton vs. Collingwood
After Saturdays debacle, nowhere have i seen any blame set upon our match committee. The game was lost at the selection table way  before the the ball was even bounced so blaming players is a little unfair. The balance of the team was poor and we never stood a chance. On top of this we hit an in form GC which admittedly after watching them live, they will worry many teams this year. Plenty of hard bodies too against slighter frames. Great warm weather was on their side too so it was a perfect storm for us as a team.
We just weren't ready on Saturday and feel we would have learnt plenty both on and off field.
Your thoughts

Thought Cunningham was so clean when others fumbled. He is a star in the making and a real gem. See the below that wrote 2 seasons ago. Maybe someone from the club read this and passed it on to BB.
I feel a tad responsible  ;)

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this before but Jones is quick and moves really well and has a clue about football. This though hasn't translated into any decent games for us.
I think he would do really well as a defender. Definitely tall with decent mitts. He won't last as a forward so drop down back and I think it will be the making of him.
Just saying

I read alot about Weitering and where he is best suited but I think the real issue is where do we play Charlie Curnow. From the games I have seen, he is a natural new age midfielder that is big bodied and very Bont like. Is smart in close and handy on the outside. From what I hear, he has a great tank so I expect more midfield time this year. He'll lose form up forward as there will be limited entries into the 50. What are your thoughts?

I disagree mate, watch the replay. He looks directly at the Richmond player and sees him coming but totally disregards him as a threat and even once tackled pays him little respect and tries to brush him off. He just thinks he can walk through tackles must have enormous strength. Hate to quote Danny Frawley but he'll learn from that. Another player that had not too much awareness but used to find the pill for fun was Andrew Carrazzo. He developed into a fantastic footballer.

He had absolutely no idea a Richmond player was coming......whatever the argument if he is to learn from this he should have already improved slightly by now, which tells me this will be his deficiency for life. Carrazzo was a bloody decent defender learning the game before he stepped into the midfield and from my memory his disposal was shocking not his awareness around him

I understand he is young and learning but as a retired soccer center midfielder, if you don't have peripheral vision you are a liability. When he got caught in the center square which resulted in a goal just before half time clearly shows he could not see his opposition coming from the corner of his eye. Cannot teach that type of awareness. Too bad because if he did he could be anything
