The two frees paid against Zac Williams for holding Elliott are a case in point.  Collingwood defenders did exactly the same to our forwards several times later in the game and there wasn't a whistle to be heard.

Perhaps umpires wish to set the ground rules early in the game, possibly subconsciously, then relax their interpretation as the game progresses.

What does any of this have to do with Biden vs Trump?

My argument is that the two discussions are not mutually exclusive.

I dont believe the USA will change foreign policy irrespective of who's president.

I think you guys are bonkers for thinking this could be a result, and the president is just a puppet spokesman not a dictator.

Also in closing the USA arms more people for conflict for their own profit than for any noble cause.  You could argue that all their interference in the middle east has fueled the whole reason Russia invaded the Ukraine to begin with.  Are you a student of history?  All of this is a continuation of past conflicts, not new.

Apparently external parties blew up a gas pipeline which resulted in another reason for Russia to take on Ukraine. That's from someone I know serving in HMAS services.

Yes because he gets most minutes in there doesn't make him the better ruck imo.
TDK is a ruck not a forward just like H is a forward not a ruck and Young is a back not a ruck.

TDK is being played out of position. No matter who the ruck is (despite TDK being the superior ruck) todays game does not suit two rucks - we have lost past 80% of games with two rucks. Not sure how much more blatant it can get.

If there is a run and carry problem, or chasing tackling issue, it's not from having our two rucks playing. A huge problem Friday night was that our SFs gave us stuff all tackles, Fantasia was tops with 3, Owies and Durdin just 1 a piece. How can it be that opposition score so heavily from turnovers on our HFF yet three SF players have just 6 tackles between them? Kennedy had more than them combined, and our next best was BigH!

It's untenable that you have three players basically not contributing, something is drastically wrong with our SF setup, and Fogarty isn't that much better than them but he's an arm and a leg ahead of what's currently on offer.

I dont.  I think the USA should mind its own business and I think most people on this forum see Biden vs Trump and have extrapolated some Byzantine complex scenario where one or the other changes the fortune of that nation (which it doesnt).  No matter how much aid Ukraine gets today Russia will invade it again at any time.

Wars don't start in weeks or months, the build up takes years.

What's happening now is a build up that continued right through the Trump era and probably started well before it, he did nothing to arrest it. He was basically asleep at the wheel!

FFS, Trump openly admits to not reading the reports he is provided by officials in government, he gets the bulk of his updates off late night TV. That puts him in the same big fruitcake category with Mel Gibson and Sly Stalone! :o

If the US wants a celebrity in the White House they'd be better off voting in Mr Bean, even though he'd make similar blunders and also lie about it, he wouldn't do so maliciously like Trump will!
