Brother of Peter, father of WC defender Sandy Brock. Known as "Spit Pin", he passed away on the same say as Dennis Cometti aged 75. A talented race car driver in his own right only over shadowed by his famous and supremely talented brother "PB".

Whilst not a sportsperson, Makybe Diva stands comfortably in the Australian pantheon of sporting legends. The Melbourne Cup treble in 03 04 05 as well as the MC / Cox Plate  double in 05 are feats which will remain unequaled for the rest of time in my option. Everyone will remember those races and the words "A champion becomes a legend" will be forever etched into the minds of sports lovers everywhere.
Rest easy big girl.

God bless the citizens who stood up to the young thugs at Northland yesterday and performed citizens arrests. They should get bravery awards. Dip crap Jacinta Allan has brought fwd the machete ban laws (farken miracle), WTF was she waiting until Sep for?
These young dogs need to be punished to the full extent of the law, its lucky an innocent person wasnt killed.

I cant believe the outrage over banter between Tony  and the Serbian/Djokovic fans. I heard a grab of what Jones said, he jokingly  called the Joker a "hasbeen" and "overrated" whilst playing with the crowd. The Serbian community has now made a racism complaint to the Australian Human Rights Commission with comments labelled racist and offensive. Is this being serious? A bit rich coming from a mob who would happily do harm to a Croatian simply because they are Coratian.

I have some relos from OS staying with us and they want to buy a necklace with an Aussie opal in it. Does anyone on here have any experience  purchasing them from someone reputable here in Melb?

The Sports Desk / Corey "Homicide" Williams Passes Away
Sadly, Corey "Homicide" Williams lost his relatively short battle with cancer. I'm not a basketball fan in any way shape or form but I followed Homicide mainly through his socials and on SEN. Nice fella, always spoke his mind and was often very funny. He and Gazey would often have me in stitches back in the day.
Will be missed.

Lets get things started shall we.
A few questions to ask:
1.. Will Walshy get up?
2. Will Motlop miss?
3. Do Williams and Kennedy come in?
4. Do we play TDK and Pitto or TDK and H?
5. Does/Can Marchy come in or is he hurt also?

A lacklustre performance tonight to say the least, but I'm reliably told its a praccy match and so just ignore it.

From what I saw of Young tonight, Durdin plays if he is fit.
Despite H hurting my eyes in the ruck, Pitto made him look like Big Nic.
I think Williams and Kennedy need to come in for sure.

Cant see us beating the Lions up there, but Ill wipe tonight from my memory and say you never know.
