I don't understand why we can't select fit players. Beau Webster, for example, bated and bowled well against India just recently and he isn't 35 in the shade.

4 players moved on today: Taylor Ortlepp, Lulu Beatty, Jade Halfpenny and Gen Lawson-Tavan.
Of those, Gen played a fair bit: 18 games in 2 seasons.

The cricket world is basically subservient to India, it's not a healthy situation.

Some will say it's sour grapes from Australia to question the integrity, but in reality even when Australia was at it's pinnacle it was never in control of the sport, control which has now passed from the UK to India. Cricket looks less democratic than ever before.
I must admit I find this quite disturbing. The money from India is influencing the game very negatively, in my humble opinion. And it certainly isn't helping test cricket.

Ladies Lounge / AFLW 2024 Rd 10: Carlton vs Essendon
The girls play their last game for the season on Saturday night at Carlton against the Drug Cheats (19:15).
We would not be favourites, but we could stop Essendon from getting into the finals.
We should have Vescio back from injury.

The girls got up: we won by 4 points but peppered the goals in the last 5 minutes. It should have been more, but a win is a win is a win, especially at Collingwood. This is the first time the girls have played at Victoria Park.

Celine Moody plays her 50th game. Can't recall many sensational ones, but we have 4 big marking targets. Granted that not many of them kick goals or take contested marks, but that is another tale.
