Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Post Game Passion: AFL 2019 Rd 13: Carlton vs. Western Bulldogs
Luke Beveridge made a point on TF that Footscray had less game experience than Carlton on Sunday. I checked this out and he is right by a total of three games overall. This is where stats are misleading. If you take out our three most experienced players and take out there most experienced players then the differential is over 300 in our favour. Our six most experienced players make up 65% of our total games played. Because of this our players will be up and down with form.
I was also reminded on FC that McGovern broke his back in the pre-season which will explain the issues with his hamstring tightness and gives some context around the lack of impact he is having in games.

This thread has really turned dark. It appears to me that the haters on this site are frustrated by the improved performances of carlton and have turned their ire towards the northern blues. Calling players oxygen thieves and cancers is disgraceful and people should have a good hard look at themselves, particularly when these comments are directed at first year player.
I have Lang down as a fail but I notice he is in our best players. I also don't understand why there is no positive comments about Owies 5 goals and the performance of Jack.
I read the threads on the northern blues to get some idea on how the players are developing as I cant get to these games not to read the rantings of the disaffected.

One of our problems today, and there were many, is that we had 12 players coming out of the past four drafts and yet it was the more experienced players who let us down. Newman, Fasolo and Lang were disastrous, while Cripps was well held, whereas Heppel, Hurley and Hooker were very good. Players aged 25 to 30 is our major weakness and until we get more good players in that age range we are going to struggle.

Capcom, the plan is simple, in 2015 the club admitted it stuffed things up in 2011. Rebuild the club both on and off the field. Fix the finances, re-engage the membership, change the culture of the club and go to the draft and rebuild the playing list. They have fixed the finances, half a million dollar profit despite finishing last,  they have re-engaged the membership,  60,000 members, fixed the culture, if you lie to your teammates and to the club, you are out.
They have gone to the draft to rebuild the list. I think they were only planning to go three times to the draft but I think they have realised the problems with the  playing list  was deeper than they thought,  so they went a fourth time, hence why I think they are twelve months behind where they wanted to be. The next stage is to trade in good quality ready made players who will support the development of the quality young players we have on the list.
That is the plan, now tell me the alternative that doesn't start and end with sacking everone.

We still hear the same old claptrap on this forum, sack the coach, sack the players, sack the President, sack the Board sack the staff, sack the assistant coaches, every deal is a dud, nobody is any good, the world is woeful, everyone is against us, they should have listened to me. What is the alternative.
We have the fundamentals of a very good list, the club is an very good shape off the field, and they have a plan that they are sticking to.
Tell me the alternative, who, what, when, where, how and why. Give me the details.
