Bolts gave a fairly measured, if somewhat repetitious, presser.
Happy with the effort, but skill execution in general play lets us down. Thought we did well to hang tough. Mentioned we have two bigs on the boil (McKay and CC), but they take time to mature. Mentioned 10 players we had who have played less than 30 games. Spoke a little about Cripps. Spoke about the time it takes to move to his new style of play, and mentioned the changes in player personnel and coaching staff.
Didn't see the game, but what happened to Murph? How did Weiters, Kerridge and Thomas go? Did Kerridge turnover many balls? How did Gibbs play, did he win may hard balls?
My 2 cents :
Murph sick at 1/2 time, head cut in the 3rd. Weitering VVG, Kerridge ok, Thomas blah Gibbs blah
Unfortunately our key issue is being highlighted again, no natural goal kickers, really in the game, winning the stats , but no no conversations on the scoreboard
So far as I can tell, we're winning the marks Inside 50 and the hit outs. Everything else the Doggies way.
I will be at this game, so have fun with this thread. Hopefully we can be more impressive than last week.
By the way, I named this week's threads with the type (in game, post game, etc.) first, so that it would be easier to identify Do you like it this way?
Makes it easy to see the main bits of the thread title in the scroll bar. Nice work. Thanks
I'll accept that...but given the relationship between the two, the source is dubious at best.
Bottom line...If Collins is the demon he's painted why is he welcomed by so many at the club....he appeared in promotional material with club legends at the start of the season?
Yes - some primary sources, eyewitnesses etc. are essential. This is a very important issue.
EDIT : Let's not forget that Elliott's word has been questioned before :
............... Our club lacks depth, we lose one player and structures turn to poo. But get them all out there and all of a sudden clubs can struggle to match up against us.................
I know this is the NB thread, but imagine losing Cripps and Weitering at the same time. Yeesh........
