Anyone watching I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here?
Def not my fav show but a bit of a mind numbing distraction on this V hot day.
Dyson Heppell, one of the 'players', is interesting to watch. Hasn't endeared himself to me. Lots of 'yeah brother' type positive talk.  Makes me wonder what he would have been like as a club captain. Seems a decent enough bloke ( all very edited of course) but way too cheesy as a leader. Not what I'd like as a club captain I don't think.
Then again,  maybe more players are actually like this.

The one pick I am seeing that surprises me from most posts is Saad. While I have loved his endeavour and his output I was thinking 2025 may have been his final year - seemed he didn't finish that strongly and may have gone out on a 'high'. Glad he stayed on for 2026 but I question him being an auto pick each week. Seems most posts here put him in the starting team for round 1 (or is that zero). I'm putting Newman and Cowan ahead of him at this stage. Then there is O Hollands and Florent.
Fingers crossed for a big 2026 for Saad - the team is def stronger when he is moving the ball quickly out of defence.

btw., I've heard that Lord was in another separate incident that actually copped him high, so how do you assign a delayed concussion to one incident and not another? It will be interesting to see what comes out.
I too thought 3 weeks was a bit heavy. Just seemed like a late bump. Did he actually get Lord high? Didn't look it to me. Maybe hit his head on the ground. It seems the penalty is based on the damage done, especially if you elect to bump. Plenty of bumps like that end up with no serious outcome.

This was tough (other than the team rating) - usually base my votes on my view/memory of the game plus some input/help from AFL stats. This week it was more stats based than memory as mostly I remember it being a horrible team performance with very little that was positive.
