Can't ask for more on a wet night. 1 Evans - Don't understand the hate for Frankie. ALWAYS tries to create something from nothing. 6 tackles (4 i50), 5 I50's and kicks a goal. My obvious question: are we going to allow Daicos, Sidebottom, etc, to run around with nobody near them? I'd be tempted to have Wilson play a negative role on Nick Daicos. But will our match committee use their brains?
Crash, was thinking the exact same thing. Has the pace. Would commit to the task IMO. Left field sort of move so no chance our selectors would go for it.
Probably our best 4 quarter effort for the year. The boys had a crack. I know we got smacked in the 2nd but starting Cripps off the ground was the catalyst I honestly believe of when it turned around. Lots of positives and we'll make a few changes next week, so there should be some improvement. At least we played a good last quarter and but for some shocking umpiring could have been closer
We need to just kick it down the middle this quarter. Chaos ball after chaos ball. To do that we need centre clearance, so start Cripps on the ground Vossy. Pitto needs to ruck all quarter ala Max Gawn.
Our backline is shizen. Haynes is reminding me of his 1st game v Richmond. Young is a ragdoll toy for Thilthorpe. Boyd is making shocking decisions. Derksen is out of his league. Cowan and Newman battling hard but they are under the pump so much. Starting Cripps on the bench and suddenly they smash us in the middle and we just fall apart. Something definitely wrong with Cripps' right hand. Walsh on fire in the 1st and unsighted in the 2nd. Smith hardly touched it. Cerra hardly touched it. Williams ditto. Kemp and Evans, zero impact. H is at least bringing the ball to ground but not much else. Hopefully as we're down at halftime we're saving ourselves for the 2nd.😝
